Salanghae (A Voltron Klance Story)

"Salanghae."                                                                                                                                                                              I hear my mother say a word I haven't ever heard before. It sounds..interesting. It makes me feel happy..safe. It makes me feel loved. Loved? Maybe it meant love. No, why would my mother just say the word 'love' to me. It made no sense.

Keith, was thinking back on his child self. Now that he knew what the word Salanghae meant he understood his mothers words. He deeply wishes he could have said the same word to her. He never once had told her 'Salanghae' and he wishes he had.

Now that Keith's mother was gone and he was in the Galaxy Garrison, He didn't have anyone to say 'Salanghae' to. He wished he did, but there was no one that he had found worthy of the word.  Keith had few friends at Garrison. He mainly would hang out with his familiar 'emo' friends. Jennie & Jake; the two twins, Korisa the eldest girl of the group, and Andrew the quote on quote 'leader' of their group. Andrew was the most emo out of all of them. Which was quite shocking to some of the other Garrison students as they all thought Keith was the all-mighty 'emo' king.

Keith was glad that someone was better at him at something. He was always the best at his classes, No one could ever top him. He hated it. Keith always wished he could be second best, y'know? Have someone be better than him. Even if it was just him wearing less black clothing, or getting more sleep. He didn't care, he respected Andrew for that very reason. If Keith went back to wearing his clothes and sleeping routine like normal, he would top Andrew by FAR. 

Keith was more of the 'outcast'. He didn't share interests with many people, Even his friendship group. Keith loved listening to K-Pop, loved to draw; sing and had lots of other strange habits. Some of those habits included: Staring off into space without realizing, getting angry over nothing and wearing finger less gloves. No one really knew about his love for BLACKPINK, the all girl K-Pop band. 

Keith didn't like BLACKPINK for the pretty girls, he wasn't that type of lad. Keith loved BLACKPINK for the awesome music. Their music was about being confident and loving yourself. It  was really inspirational..IF you could speak Korean, which Keith infact did. That was another thing not many people knew about Kogane. Mr. Emo boy was Korean in every way you could think of. All of his ancestors were Korean. (-Or so he thought-) 

Keith, At this very moment was listening to "SOLO" By JENNIE. He was mumbling the lyrics. Though he had a dorm alone. Which he was very happy for. Keith still didn't like to sing when he thought others could hear him. 

Keith was about to change the song when a knock came from his door. He pulled his earphones out and walked over to the door, opening it with a swift turn of the knob. 

"Yes?" Keith asked looking at Jennie and Jack stood at the door. 

"We want to invite y-"Jennie looked at Keith with sparkles in her eyes, Before he cut her off.

"No"                                                                                                                                                                                

 "No? But you haven't even heard what it is!" Jennie basically shrieked.                                                  

"I don't want to go." Keith sighed                                                                                                                          

"But PLEASE Keith. Just this once?" Jennie pleaded looking at her brother for assistance.             

"I said no Jennie! I don't want to go to your stupid thing!" He growled                                                    

"I didn't organize it!" She cried                                                                                                                              

"The who did?" Keith asked with a tinge of annoyance.                                                                          

"Lance did." Jack interrupted. Keith stopped at the mention of Lance. Lance Keith thought, Lance the cargo pilot?  He asked himself in his head.

"Lance, the cargo pilot?" Keith asked. Jack nodded,

"Yes Lance the cargo pilot." Jack ensured.

"Sooo, Will you come?!" Jennie pleaded again.

"Will you stop annoying me?" Keith suggested.

"Yes! Yes! Yes i will!" She squeeled.

"Then FINE. I will come to this stupid thing." Keith groaned, Jennie jumped up and down with excitment. 

"Let me get dressed then we can get going." Keith said looking down at himself, he was wearing sweatpants with an oversized t-shirt that read 'My mum didn't think aliens existed but then I was born.' He almost chuckled at the t-shirt. The twins nodded and Keith lightly shut the door, He quickly popped his 'normal' attire on. His iconic red cropped jacket, black gloves, boots and his leather pants. He decided on wearing a 'NASA' shirt..just to make Galaxy Garrison mad. Keith ran his hands through his long-ish hair and walked out the door to be greeted by the two familiar faces.

"You waited?" Keith asked taken back.

"Yeah of course dude! Lets go!" Jack punched him lightly in the arm. Keith nodded as the trio walked towards some other dorm.

"Where are we going?" Keith asked, wondering who's dorm they would end up in.

"Lance's dorm. Obvi." Jennie rolled her eyes at Keith's 'Idiotic' question. Keith made a 'mh' sound of approval. The trio eventually ended up at Lance McLain's door. 

And when the trio opened the door, Keith was not expecting to be greeted with-
