Brynn sat on her bed , head in her hands , watching the test in her lap . Waiting for the agonisingly long two minutes to pass.
She glanced at the timer set on her phone .
Its only been thirty seconds...
God, this was taking forever ...
She tried taking her mind of the wait , only knowing that reaching for the remote and turning the to on wouldn't help her in the slightest.
Glancing again at the timer she sighed .
A minute to go ...
Why the hell is this taking so long ?
She thought of playing angry birds on her phone , but she knew that killing them damn pigs wouldn't make her any less anxious .
She jumped slightly , the timer ringing out as the two minutes finished .
Finally...
She walked nervously into her bathroom , picking up the stick . The one result she didn't want being the one she got .
Pregnant...
Brynn felt the nausea wash over her , she leaned over the sink not bothering to use the toilet behind her . She was unsure of if it was her pregnancy that caused the nausea , or knowing she was pregnant. Either way, she had thrown up whatever she had eaten for breakfast that morning .
"Oh , gross " brynn heard someone behind her say , turning around to see her sister Sadie in her room .
" go away Sadie " she said before heaving once more , emptying the last of her stomachs contents .
She pushed the door closed .
She couldn't believe it . She was going to be a mother , at 15 ! She could hardly take care of her dog alone nevermind a human .
She sunk to the floor beside the pale door of her bathroom , feeling a familiar burning sensation in her eyes.
She let the tears fall .
How the hell was she meant to finish high school with a baby ? How was she meant to continue cheer ? How was she going to tell her mom ? How was she supposed to tell Riley ?
He would definitely hate her now . He would probably go and leave her to do this alone .
She couldn't hear the knocking of Sadie's knuckles on the door , begging for it to be opened.
She turned the tap on , hearing the sound of the water running smoothly , letting it consume her .
She wished she was drowning...
