This Means War

The next few days my time way split between Zayn and Niall. I would see Niall during the day and Zayn at night. Niall would take me out to lunch during my lunch break and when I wasn't working we'd just walk around town having a good time that always ended in a kiss.

Zayn would take me out a night. Sometimes to the park, other times to restaurant or a club. We always had a blast and he'd leave me with a good night kiss.

I was counting kisses with them. So far I had kissed Niall eight times and Zayn nine times. It didn't mean I liked Zayn more or anything, it was just easier for him to sneak kisses when it was dark.

Resa and Charlotte were enjoying this all too much. Every night I had to report back to them how my day had gone. They were practically living at my flat, which I actually didn't mind cause they were great company.

On Wednesday, I decided I needed a break from the boys and we had a girls day. We decided to go shopping. We walked around the mall, pointing our random things when suddenly Resa gasped.

"What?" I asked.

She didn't say anything, she just pointed. My eyes widen. At the newstand on the front cover of at least five diffent magazines was me!

The first cover I saw was one picture showing me out with Zayn and another showing me with Niall. The title read:

DATING IN TWO DIRECTIONS??

I was breathing heavily. "Oh my God. This isn't happening." I whispered.

But it was. And now people were pointing at me at me and snapping pictures and asking me questions. None of it registered. I barely remember Charlotte and Resa purchasing all five of the different magazines with me on the cover. Or how they pulled me though the mall trying to avoid the huge crowds of people forming around us. Or the drive home, or the walk into my flat.

It seemed that suddenly I was there in my flat on my couch just sitting there. For a moment I thought I had imagined it all, but then I heard Resa's voice.

"Scarlette snap out of it!"

"Huh?" I asked.

"You've been silent for the past hour since you saw those magazine covers. You're freaking us out." She said.

"I want to see the magazines." I said.

"I don't think that's the best idea." Charlotte said.

"No I want to see them. At least one." I pleaded.

She handed me the one I had first seen. I flipped through it until I found what I was looking for.

"DATING IN TWO DIRECTIONS??

Every Directioner out there knows that the boys of One Direction are very close with a girl named Scarlette Webster, current culinary arts school student and employee at Milkshake City. But no one knew they were this close.

Over the past week Webster has not only been seen out with Irish cutie Niall Horan but also his band mate the Bradford hottie Zayn Malik.

Webster was first spotted holding hands with Niall at the carnival and minutes later he won her a big stuffed teddy bear and received a kiss on the cheek."

There was a picture of me kissing Niall on the cheek. I continued.

"Not ten minutes later, Webster snuck away from Niall and was seen holding hands with Zayn. And he won her a giant stuffed dog and also received a kiss on the cheek."

Also a picture of me kissing Zayn.

"Throughout the rest of the night Webster was continuously spotted with both boys doing various things and ended the night by kissing both on the Ferris Wheel."
