The realms

                                                                   

Sunniva, queen of the sun and the day, then there was Crescent, queen of the moon, stars, and night. They were best friends always hung out and never had fought until one day when the queens got pregnant. They weren't planning to have pregnancies at the same time, so when this happened, they thought this would bring them closer, but it only brought them further apart. With their maids at their service and being put to bed rest, they barely got to see each other. Crescent had her baby boy and named him London. Sunniva had a baby girl and named her Ginger but Sunniva didn't make it through labor. Crescent was so devastated that she had separated the sun side and the moon side. They were separated by a road. If anyone from either side crossed the road and entered the other realm shall be punished.

Fifteen years later, the realms had still been separated and no one had crossed the road into the other realm without being caught. One day, a big green-eyed girl with long ginger hair and the cutest freckles was skipping across the forest on the sun side. She came across the road and got confused. She had never seen this before nor heard of it, so she decided to cross the road. Suddenly everything got so dark, and she felt a bit dizzy. Soon she ran into this boy and fell. The boy with blue eyes and perfectly swooped back black hair said "sorry I didn't see you there" in shock to see a girl like that in the moon realm.

The girl looks up at the boy and says

"Its ok I-I didn't see you either... I'm Ginger Queen Sunniva's daughter and you are...?" The boy smiles at Ginger and replies with

"I'm London Queen Crescent's son."

Ginger smiles and stands immediately thinking he's cute, London thinking the same about Ginger.

"So, what is this place" Ginger questions.

London a bit confused about how she doesn't know what this place is but still answers with

"It's the moon realm its always night time and starry here. Are you not from here?"

"No," Ginger says looking around.

London smiles "Well I can show you around." London says in hope of getting to know Ginger more.

Ginger smiled and nodded with delight.

A few hours later they make it back to London's house

"And this is my place... Want to come in for a drink or a snack?" London says finishing up the tour.

Ginger smiles and replies saying, "I'd love to!"

London walks in with Ginger and his mum is making food in the kitchen.

"Hey, mum this is Ginger," says super excitedly. Crescent hears the name Ginger and turns to her.

"GET OUT! GO HOME!" Crescent yells to Ginger.

London in shock and confused says "Mum what's wrong?!"

Crescent still sad about Sunniva's' death and not wanting to see Ginger cause she looks too much like her mother.

"She is not welcome here take her home and you guys are never to see each other again I shall put a guard at the road. Am I clear?"

London's eyes water up, and Ginger is confused and concerned. London nods and walks to where he and Ginger met Ginger following and shaking.

London frowns and says in a sad voice "I'm sorry I will always remember you."

London hugs Ginger as tears roll down his face. Ginger not saying a word hugs back and walks back home. London runs to a lake crying. London looks around scared and runs to his Mother.

London running as fast as he can through the woods and neighborhoods to his house.

"MUM! MUM!" he screams as he pushes open the door.

Crescent looks at London "What's wrong?!" she said in a wondering tone.

London is shaking and can't quite get words out "G-Gone moon world," London said then quickly ran to where the problem is.

Crescent followed concerned and the saw what was going on.

She immediately called the Moon headquarters and said in a panicked voice "This is Queen Crescent and I hate to report that our realm is disappearing."

Everyone was panicked running around not knowing what to do or where to go they knew they didn't have much time left. They had one option and that was to call the sun realm. Crescent didn't want her whole realm to possibly die so she called, and they took them putting them in new homes.

Ginger went to Crescent "So what happened" Ginger said still upset with Crescent.

Crescent frowns and takes one last look at her realm "This was you! You ruined my realm because I wouldn't let you see London!"

Ginger in shock and said, "I would never hurt a realm and I don't know who you are or what you want from me!"

Crescent's eyes started watering up and she sadly said, "You remind me so much of your mum I couldn't be around you!"

Ginger looks at Crescent, "Y-You knew my mum?!" Ginger said right before she hugged Crescent "Tell me everything about her" Ginger continued to speak with a smile. After a long talk, Crescent soon let Ginger see London and they hugged right away. London and ginger smiled, and the Moon realm stayed merged with the sun realm. They lived sunny happily ever after!
