A/N: Includes a couple of my OCs. I usually don't like to post things with my OCs, because people don't usually read them, but I don't know maybe people will like this one. The story behind this was I put a bunch of characters and prompts into a list randomizer and then wrote this based off of that. Enjoy.

"I can't believe I'm sitting in space jail with you of all people," Hikaru grumbled, his arms crossed over his chest and his lip jutting out ever so slightly, but it was enough to make him look like a child being denied candy. Karma scoffed and turned away, his arms also crossed.

"It's not my fault you don't know how to pilot a pod."

"Yeah? Well, we would've been fine if you hadn't shot at the cops!" Hikaru blamed, challenging Karma with his cocky stance.

"Please," Karma asseverated, "you were the one who decided it would be a good idea to run from the cops!" Hikaru was about to retort when two voices shouted "shut up!" from the cell beside them.

"Can you two please just shut the hell up? It's both your faults!" Kate shouted. Karma immediately took the wounded dog stance, while Hikaru decided the offense was a good road to take.

"My beloved Kate, you wound me." Kate snorted, but it lacked humor.

"It's just as much your fault as it is ours!"

"Of course it is," Dee agreed sarcastically, "because we were the ones who ran from a parking ticket!" Hikaru slammed his fist into the wall separating their cells, causing Duchess to jump.

"Shut up, alright?! I'm sorry, is that what you want to hear?" he yelled. The cells fell into silence before Dee started giggling. "What?!"

"That's the first time I've heard you submit so quickly." Kate sighed and sat down, her back against the wall separating their cells.

"Look, if you two don't get it together, we're going to keep getting into trouble." Karma knew she was right but refused to look at his male companion. Before anything further could be said, a guard came and let them out of their cells.

"You're free to go after you've signed the appropriate paperwork and paid for your ticket. Try not to cause another infraction," he warned in a bored tone. Hikaru rushed out of the jail cell and took deep breaths as if he hadn't breathed in minutes. Karma rolled his eyes but said nothing. They made their way down to the lobby and Kate paid for the ticket, and they were off in their pod on their way to rustle the feathers of the law once again.
