Just A Nobody

chapter two

My shift was over and I headed into the back room the put my apron away and get my jacket when I heard some screaming from the main room. I quickly grab my jacket and run back into the room thinking someone was getting murder until I saw him standing there taking pictures with some girls. His Dark (dyed) hair seem to fall perfectly, his bluish-green eyes were unmistakable. He must have seen me because a smirk appeared on his face and he started to walk over to me.

" so you must be y/n," he said looking me up and down. 

" Guilty," I said with a nervous laugh, he chuckled a bit. I look over to Trixie with a " what's going on" look on her face, I smile and mouth "I'll explain later"

" so how about that ice cream," Cole said

" oh yeah right" He smiled a before heading to the door and opening it for me.

" malady," he said with a fake accent.

" why thank you, kind sir," I said with the same accent. We both laughed and headed down the streets of New York. After a 5 minute walk, we were at the ice cream shop.

"I love this pace," I said before walking in

" so do I" he replied, " I come here every time I visit New York" I looked up and smiled at him

We ordered our ice creams, I got a Y/f/f (your favorite flavor), and he got chocolate. I pulled out $20 but he stopped me.

"hey I got this," he said with a smile

" No, I can't let you-" I started before he cut me off

" you can get it next time," he said and I could feel myself blush. 

we sat down and ate our ice cream and talked. I felt so comfortable around him like I've known him for years. I told him about how I attended college at NYU and how when I graduated I wanted to move to London, he told me about how he got the part in Riverdale and growing up as a child actor. We laughed and joked and it just felt right.

After we ate our ice cream he offered to walk me home since I only lived a few (new York ) blocks away.

We walked in a comfortable silence. Occasionally his hand would brush mine, and his cheeks would turn a bright red. At one point I couldn't take it anymore. His hand brushed mine and I quickly intertwined my fingers with his. He looked down at me and blushed, I blushed too. He gave my hand a light squeeze in reassurance before we kept walking.

We finally made it to my apartment complex. I stopped and looked up at him.

" Thanks for today, I had a lot of fun," I said with a smile

" No problem, and so did I," he said with the same smile.

I gave him a quick peck on the lips, before leaving him there confused, and quickly walking into the building.

"I'll text you" I heard him call after me.

I smiled the whole way up to my apartment. I took out my keys and unlocked the door.

I saw my dad sitting on the couch and a quickly ran over to him and gave him a big hug.

" thank you thank you thank you," I said

" for what?" he laughed.

" For giving Cole Sprouse my number, he texted me while I was at work and asked if I could get ice cream with him," I said with a huge grin, " we spent the whole day together" My dad just smiled in response.

The rest of that night I spent writing on my laptop and eating pizza. It soon becomes late and I started to get ready for bed. I changed and brushed my teeth. I was laying in bed about to turn off the light when my phone went off. I opened it up to see that I got a texted. I quickly opened it.

Cole: Goodnight Princess X

Y/N: goodnight X

I smiled to my self and turned off the lights before slowly drifting off the sleep with a smile on my face.
