Chapter 4

Thursday: Bieber-Gomez home
(Clare's in her room asleep when Selena walks in and lightly shakes her)
Selena: hey baby girl
Clare: hmm
Selena: Justin and I got called into the studio to record some songs but we should be back by lunch so you want to go out? Maybe Olive Garden
Clare: sure whatever
Selena: okay well you know the rules your grounded so no leaving the house and if you need to call us there's the house phone
Clare: are you serious? Why can't you guys just give me my phone
Selena: because we know you'll take advantage of it
Clare: you guys know me too well
Selena: yup (kisses her on the forehead) love you baby
Clare: love you too
(Selena walks out of the room and her and Justin leave the house)
Clare's pov
Once I heard the door close I got out of bed and went to their room because little do they know every time they ground me they leave my phone in the drawer and whenever they leave they never take my phone with them so that's when I use it, you would think if they were going to ground me they would take my phone with them. Anyways I walked over to their room and grabbed my phone and texted the group chat.

Clare: guys we have an emergency situation
Valerie: what's up?
Jackie: I am all ears
Clare: my dad's forcing me to go on tour with him and I leave tomorrow so today we need to take complete advantage
Mike: I can pick you up in five and we can go to the lot have a bit of fun there and Jeremy is working at the club tonight so we can get in and there's no way your dad can shut it down this time
Clare: true I was so embarrassed, was Ricky upset about that?
Jake: invite him to hang out for the day and make it up to him if you know what I mean
Clare: haha very funny but you might be on to something
Chloe: how about you message him and get ready because if your sneaking out we need to do it before they get back home
Clare: how did you know I was sneaking out?
Leo: there's no way your mom or dad wouldn't ground you after getting drunk off your ass
Clare: haha you know me so well but Chloe's right I'll get off and start getting ready
Mike: alright I'll be there in ten
Clare: okay

Clare's pov
I thought about what Jake said and decided that I'll invite Ricky but first I am going to get ready so I walked into my closet and  opened my secret drawer where I have all the clothes that my mom and justin would never let me wear and after looking for a few seconds I pulled out my favorite white strapless bustier crop top with black booty shorts and my signature converse. After I was dressed I left my hair natural and I was ready to go and I heard mike honk so I grabbed my purse, my phone and walked out the door.

Mike: well look at you, I wonder who you could be all dressed up for
Clare: haha well I am going to take Jake's advice and call Ricky
Mike: alright sounds good now let's go pick up the rest of the crew
Clare: okay I am going to call Ricky (takes the phone out and mike starts driving to pick up Valerie and Jackie)
Phone convo
Ricky: well if isn't the girl that got my party shut down
Clare: yeah about that I am so sorry and I was going to call you but my parents have me living in a prison
Ricky: it's okay I wasn't actually mad and since your calling me I am guessing you broke out
Clare: yes I am free and I was wondering if you want to hang out with my friends and I for the day
Ricky: yeah sure where should I meet you guys?
Clare: the lot by the abandoned building you know which I am talking about right?
Ricky: course it's where everyone hangs out when they want to cause trouble (smirks)
Clare: that's right see you in twenty
Ricky: sure
Clare: alright bye
Ricky: see you in a bit

(They pull up to Valerie's house where everyone else is and they get in the car)
Jackie: well don't you look sexy missy
Clare: haha thanks
Valerie: so did you call him?
Clare: I did and he's going to meet us at the lot
Chloe: are you going to seal the deal with him before you leave?
Clare: honestly I want to but a lot can happen in three months and I don't want to do long distance
Leo: want some advice?
Clare: sure what words of wisdom do you have for me?
Leo: I don't think you should do long distance if you want to hook up with him at the club go for it but don't start a relationship right now
Clare: that's actually pretty good advice who knew the jock knew anything other then basketball
Leo: haha funny
Jack: no but seriously don't start anything
Clare: I won't, but it's my last day in LA and I refuse to let anyone ruin my fun
Valerie: that's our girl (turns up the music)
Jackie: (gasps) turn it up this is the tunnel song from the perks of being a wallflower!!!
Mike: we met to this song!!
Clare: aww don't get me emotional I am going to miss you guys
Valerie: (hugs her) three months will fly by by you'll see
Clare: I hope
Clare's pov
Ten minutes of driving later we arrived at the lot and Ricky was already there and he brought a couple of his friends too so we were all one big group now and I didn't mind I would just need to pull him away for a little while.

Ricky: there you guys are
Them: hey
Ethan: well now that the parties all here let's take a shot!!
Clare: yes please!!
(They start taking a few shots)
Clare: hey Ricky can I talk to you for a second
Ricky: yeah sure (stands up and follows her somewhere away from the group) what's up?
Clare: well I know you said you weren't upset about the party but I feel like I should make it up to you
Ricky: oh really (grabs her by the waist and pulls her closer to him) what did you have in mind?
Clare: oh I don't know (kisses him)
Clare's pov
Ricky wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped my arms around his neck at first it was just a simple kiss but then I felt his tongue on my lips and I decided to tease him and not let him so he put his hands on my ass and gave it a squeeze so I gasped and he slipped his tongue in my mouth and soon we were fighting for dominance but I let him win and that's when I saw the flash and I immediately stopped kissing him and we looked to see who took the picture and I was low key hoping it was a fan because then I could throw her phone and smash it to the ground but of course with my luck it was paparazzi so I decided that I was already going to be in enough trouble so I flipped off the camera man and kissed Ricky again and then grabbed his hand and walked back to my friends knowing that little stunt was going to be on E News tonight but I'll deal with the consequences later.

Ricky: your parents are so going to kill you
Clare: I don't care let them (takes another shot)
Ricky: (smirks) you are not the Hollywood princess everyone thinks you are
Clare: is that a bad thing
Ricky: not at all I would rather have a hot badass girlfriend then a sweet and innocent one
Clare: lucky for you I am not sweet (kisses him)
Jake: alright love birds want a joint
Ricky: sure
(Ricky sits on one of the chairs and pulls Clare onto her lap and little does she know paparazzi was still snapping pics)
Scene change: Bieber-Gomez house
Selena: Clare we are home!!
Justin: and we brought in and out burgers!
A few seconds later
Selena: Clare come on down! She's not still sleeping right?
Justin: I'll go check on her (walks upstairs and knocks on her door) Clare we are here and we brought lunch... Clare open the door or I am coming in... alright I am coming in (opens the door) Selena!
(Selena walks upstairs and into her bedroom)
Selena: where is she!
Justin: if I knew that I wouldn't have called you up here
Selena: I know that but I can't believe she snuck out, where would she go, she's grounded and doesn't have her phone
Justin: damnit I should have known (walks into their bedroom and looks in the drawer)
Selena: known what?
Justin: her phone is gone, she knew where her phone was and she took it
Selena: she's in big trouble (takes her phone out)
Justin: what are you doing?
Selena: calling her
Scene change- the lot
Clare's pov
After we smoked a little weed we decided to just chill and listen to music to let it leave our system and we stopped drinking so that we could sober up and drive to the club and I'll be honest that took a few hours but we still had fun and yes there were a few make out sessions here and there but it was all in good fun and yes my phone was ringing and I knew who it was but I didn't care to answer it like I said no one is ruining this last day for me. Once it started getting dark we were all sober enough to start driving to the club we got in the cars and drove except I decided to go with Ricky and his crew and mine were going to follow behind us.

Aaron: so just out of curiosity when did you start having a thing for each other
Clare: well I have always thought Ricky was hot
Ricky: aw thanks babe
Clare: when did you notice me?
Ricky: well unlike everyone else I could see right through your mask, I knew there was more to you then being Hollywood's princess and it intrigued me
Clare: aww I didn't even know you paid attention to me like that
Ricky: well now you know
Clare's pov
The drive to the club wasn't that long like fifteen to twenty minutes max and once we got there we were able to get through because the bouncer knows us and we are able to get drinks because Jeremy's working tonight. We took a few shots to get us started since it's been a couple hours since we took one and we hit the dance floor.

Scene change Gomez-Bieber house
Justin: babe you have been calling for hours and she's still not picking up
Selena: it's eight o clock and she's still not home what if something happened to her?
Justin: she's just being a rebellious teenager right now, I went through that phase
Selena: yeah but you were seventeen, eighteen, Clare's only fifteen!
Justin: that's true... should we call nick and the guys I am sure they would want to know about this
Selena: yeah okay I'll call them (dials Demi's number)
Phone convo
Demi: hey Selena what's up?
Selena: hey can you put me on speaker it's about Clare
Demi: yeah sure let me just call the guys (puts it on speaker) nick, joe, Kevin your needed in the living room!
Nick: what's up babe?
Demi: Selena needs to talk to us
Joe: what's up Sel?
Selena: okay don't be mad because I know I should have called you earlier but I thought she would be home by now
Nick: what happened?
Selena: Justin and I got called to the studio and we were only supposed to be gone for the morning and we came back around twelve and brought lunch but while we were gone Clare snuck out
Kevin: and she's still not back yet?
Selena: no and she took her phone but she's ignoring my calls
Nick: do you you want us to go over there and wait with you till she comes home
Selena: do you mind?
Nick: not all all we'll be there in twenty
Selena: okay see you in a bit
Nick: bye

Justin: what did he say?
Selena: they are going to come over and wait till she comes home is that okay?
Justin: yeah that's fine
Selena: thanks baby (kisses him)
Justin: you don't have to thank me I told you when we got together that we were in it together and that means co parenting with nick and his family too
Selena: I am glad we are able to get along and I think I am going to fix things with Demi once and for all
Justin: I think that's a great idea (kisses her)
Scene change - The club
Clare's pov
So I am not going to lie we have had a couple more shots and I am definitely drunk right now and grinding in Ricky but I don't care because this is my last night in Cali for three months and I am going to take as much advantage as I can.

Ricky: babe want another shot! (Yells over the music)
Clare: yes please!
Aaron: those two can't keep their hands off each other
Valerie: tell me about it, it makes me sick
Aaron: haha care to dance?
Valerie: your cute so why not
(Takes his hand and they walk to the dance floor)
Scene change- the house
(Demi, nick, joe and Kevin are at the house sitting on the couch with Justin and Selena)
Selena: hey Demi I was wondering if we can talk for a minute
Demi: sure what's up (walks over to her and they go to the dining room area)
Selena: so I know we have had our issues in the past but I want you to know that I forgive you and I am really glad that Clare has you as a step mom and I know you'll take of her while she's on tour with you guys
Demi: aww Selena thank you that means a lot to me (hugs her) and I am sorry for the mistakes I made too
Selena: I am glad we can start to rebuild this friendship
Demi: me too
(The boys turn the tv on in the living room and the first thing that comes on is E news)
Reporter: and tonight's biggest story has to do with Hollywood's innocent princess Clare Jonas
Nick: girls get in here!
(Selena and Demi walk to the living room and sit on the couch while Justin turns the volume up)
Reporter: Today our camera's caught Clare in a major make out session with a mystery boy (shows picture of her and Ricky) and if that's not scandalous enough here are more pictures (shows the one where she flips the camera guy off, her on Ricky's lap rolling a joint and taking shots) wow after seeing these pictures I guess Hollywood's princess isn't so innocent anymore, I wonder if her parents Nick Jonas and Selena Gomez feel about their fifteen year old daughter doing these things and what other secrets has Clare been hiding? Find out next time on E News (Justin turns off the tv and everyone in the room is silent)
Selena: I am going to kill that girl when she comes home
Nick: comes home? No no I am going out and I am looking for her and dragging her ass back here
Kevin: you don't even know where she is
Nick: I am going to find her (looks for the phone tracker only to find out Clare turned it off) she turned it off
Joe: great so now what
Justin: we wait until she comes home and we deal with her
Selena: Where did we go wrong Justin? We have given her everything she wants, we let her go to school, we let her have freedom just like every normal teenage girl
Justin: maybe that's the problem we have given her too much freedom
Demi: you guys can't blame yourselves, your a great mom sel and your a great step dad Justin, Clare has just been hanging out with the wrong people
Nick: no if I was around more maybe she wouldn't be doing the things she's doing
Kevin: don't go there nick, look guys this isn't anyone's fault but Clare's because she's the one that's making the wrong choices okay maybe you guys did give her more freedom but she's the one that chose to hang out with the wrong crowd and she knows what she's doing is wrong so she is at fault and she needs to be punished end of story
Selena: Kevin's right blaming ourselves isn't going to do any good so let's just sit on this couch and wait for her to come home
Them: okay
A couple more hours later
Ricky: hey babe it's going to be four in the morning maybe we should head out
Clare: (pouts) I don't want to go
Ricky: I know but your parents are going to kill me and so are mine, let's find the crew and head home
Clare: fineee
(A few minutes of looking for everyone in the club, they found their crew and got in the cars and started heading home)
Clare: I am going to miss you guys
Ricky: we are going to miss you too but three months will fly by
Clare: a lot can happen in three months
Ricky: Clare look at me, my feelings for you are not going to change, I know you don't want to do long distance and that's fine because I am going to want to have fun too so when you get back we'll pick up right where we left off
Clare: okay
Valerie: we are going to miss you sooooo much girly
Aaron: I think she's still a little tipsy
Chloe: haha a little no way she's still drunk
Leo: can't argue there
Clare: well I am glad I am tiny bit sober then before
Mike: Clare we are at your house
(Clare looks at her her house and see's nick's car in the driveway)
Clare: great just great my dad's here
Jackie: well you have been gone for hours
Clare: ughhh I don't want to go inside
Jake: got to face the music at some point
Clare: fineee
(kisses Ricky one last time and hugs everyone and get's out of the car and tries to walk to the front door and grabs her key and opens it, Justin who is half asleep hears the door open and sees Clare trying to sneak up stairs)
Justin: do you have any idea what time it is young lady!!
(Everyone who is sitting on the couch wakes up)
Clare: four in the morning
Nick: exactly! How old do you think you are to be sneaking out of the house and coming home at this time!!
Clare: guys I really don't want to deal with this so I am going upstairs to sleep (starts walking upstairs)
Joe: hold it right there we are not done talking! You don't just walk away that's rude
Clare: (sighs) I am tired I am going to bed
Selena: how tired do you think we are?! It's four in the morning, your dad and uncles have been here all day and night waiting for you to come home!!!
Clare: well they didn't need to wait for me they could have gone home
Demi: alright Clare drop the attitude your already in more then enough trouble
Clare: I don't care
Justin: you know what I am tired, everyone is tired and pissed so we will deal with you in the morning go upstairs
Clare: gladly (walks upstairs)
Justin: we have spare bedrooms if you want to stay
Nick: are you sure?
Justin: yeah we aren't having you drive all the way home at this time besides Clare's leaving with you guys in a couple hours anyway
Nick: alright thanks man
Selena: no problem you guys can just pick whatever rooms
Demi: okay goodnight
Selena: night
(Everyone walks upstairs and the guys find a bedroom and go to sleep)
