Everything was cold and dark. The room was quiet almost as if the entire world was holding its breath. Hailey felt someone grab her.
She jolted out of bed drenched in sweat. Is was just a bad dream. It wasn't real. It wasn't real. She pulled her knees to her chest. Soon there was a knock on the door.
"Time to get up," her roommate, Andy, yelled banging on the door.
"Okay I'll be out in a minute," she almost whispered.
She knew that Andy couldn't hear her, but that was fine. She rolled out of bed placing her feet on the cold floor. Hailey looked into her mirror. She examined her long, black hair and the dark bags under her eyes. This day was gonna be interesting. She quickly put on some jeans, a shirt, and her favorite hoodie. She brushed her hair and put it up into a messy bun. Taking one last glance into the mirror before leaving her room. Andy was sitting at the table with a cup of coffee and a bagel. She waved at her roommate ignoring the bags under her eyes and continued eating her bagel.
As Hailey left the apartment complex they lived in she took a deep breath and started walking. She looked up as a water droplet hit her face. But before she could react it started to pour. Hailey was too far away from the apartment now. She hurried over to a bus stop near by. She sat down on the bench.
(Sorry if that was to short I really wanted to publish this first chapter. I hope you enjoyed. Until next time.)
