Chapter 1: Perfume and Roses

This is the squeal to my other story, New Neighbors. BUT! You do not need to go read it for this.  Anyways, this is book two and it takes place after Love~Love Paradise.

Prologue: Perfume and Roses

It's been a crazy month so far. I mean I went to love~love paradise with some of my friends and that was crazy but that topic was for a different time.

I was looking at my house I was going to share with Katelyn and Kawaii-Chan because they begged me I wasn't excited about rooming with Kawaii-Chan for obvious reasons but Katelyn was cool.

I place the last box on my room floor, rubbing my shoulders before looking over at my phone when it was ringing. I walk over and see the caller ID, it was Zianna. I wondered what Zianna was calling me about. Probably the new houses she brought for you guys or about you dating one of her boys.

I pick up the phone and answer, "hello ms. Ro'Meave?"

"Oh darling just call me Zianna or mother-in-law," she giggles

"Haha," I say nervously. I loved the woman but she could be crazy. "Sorry to be forward but is there a reason you called?"

"Of course! I always have purpose! Anyways, I have a little gift basket for my favorite little bachelorette!"

"Uhh," I  blush a bit, "I mean Zianna-"

"Don't worry about it! The other parents are also very excited about you will choose! I won't try to force you to be with my boys as much as I would enjoy that and want grandchildren as Garroth is already 30... but! We are just so happy and want to thank you for making our boys so happy."

"Thank you it means a lot."

"The gift baskets are at the door! Byeeeee~"

I didn't even have time to say bye to her before she hangs up. I sigh but smile a bit. I then think about Garroth's age then everyone's age. I nervously bite my lip, we are at the age to start having kids, and we aren't kids ourselves anymore.

I shake my head and go downstairs, opening the door. I make a face as I see all the gift baskets. I carefully get all of them inside and sit on the floor. I look at the tags on them and smile. I pull the first one towards me.

To (Y/n) for Garbear
From Zianna

I shake my head as their parents were really gonna try so hard to make me get with them which I wasn't excited for but it was nice. I open the basket and find a perfume bottle with a bunch of shampoo and lotion with flower scents. There was also a pack of watermelon peeps. It was adorable and so Garroth like. Well if I ever go on a date with Garroth I could wear the nice scents but the peeps are for me definitely.
You pull the next basket up and look at the tag.

For (Y/n) for Zuzu
From Zianna

I giggle as I loved when Zane got flushed from that nickname. I open the basket and find a new outfit. It was adorable! I also find some candles with cute little scents. I also find some body soap in there as well. Then a cute little pony charm. I better put that on my little backpack. The candles would be nice for a backyard picnic date with him! Ugh, why am I thinking about this.

I tilt my head when I see a note in this basket. I grab it and open it up. I frown slightly when I see it

Dear (Y/n),
I know my little baby Vylad is gone and will mostly not want to be in a relationship until he's done with traveling. But I want to thank you for being such a good person to him and giving him the opportunity of love to him. You will mostly not end up with Vylad but I want you to know that his number is ###-###-####! Please call him so he's not bored and alone in a hotel room!

I smile a bit and put the note in my pocket. Right, Vylad was to busy traveling to even date or think about us which is fine, just a little upsetting... okay it was quite upsetting but you can't lead these boys on forever and they should and will go on with their lives with or without me.
Anyways!
I pull the next basket over, moving the two Ro'Meave's baskets the side. I take the tag off and look at it.

To (Y/n) for Laur
From the Zvahls

I smile and wonder how Laurance is doing with having a new baby brother! That family is so cute and successful! I open the basket up and giggle a little when I see the all the cuteness of it all. There was a blanket inside and a bundle of roses. I take the roses out carefully and tell myself to put in a vase later. There was a dinosaur plushy which I learned Laurance's family loved dinosaur stuff. There was also a nice nude lipstick in there. I smile and wrap the blanket around myself. It's nice, could probably cuddle Laurance in it. Okay mind stop thinking like this it's not helping the issue at hand!
I sigh before grabbing another basket.

For (Y/n) for Trav
From Mr. Valkrum.

I almost forgot that Travis' dad is the major! Man that's kind of crazy. I open it up and find a green scarf, a little white stuffed cat, green jewel earrings, and Travis' old letter man jacket from high school! Wow! It still is to big on me but that's more than okay! I love his jacket!

To (Y/n) for Danny
From the Scaldons

I almost start laughing at the nickname they gave Dante. I'm so gonna call Dante that from now on! I open it up and pull out a package of blueberry chocolate. Yum! I pull out a Link stuff animal next and it's adorable! Next there was some bubble bath, blueberry scented. Huh Dante is a blueberry after all. Next there was some jewelry that I could totally wear on a date with him.
The next basket I get ready, moving the others out of the way.

To (Y/n) for Gene
From the Scaldons

Gene?! Since when was he apart of this? But the family is being nice I guess. I just open the basket up and look inside it. There a poster for my favorite show/anime. I set that aside then pull out some pockey! Yes! I also find some headphones and iPod, man haven't seen any of these in forever. There was also some old dvds in there. Hmm, I remember these classics, I should buy a DVD player so I can watch them on the tv.
I then the next basket, looking at the final tag.

From the Lycans

I smile a bit and open the last basket up. There was a ring with a red ruby on it which was very surprising to me. I also find a small wolf statue. There was a red crystal necklace. There was also a red turtleneck sweater good for cold weather but it also had lycan on the back. It's perfect if I ever do end up with Aaron on a date because that would make him flustered! I giggle happily.

My goal this year is to stop leading them on and finally pick someone to be with.
