Part one - Rainy day

Dabi's POV
With everything I've learned so far is that hero's won't be there to help you, no matter how hard you try to cry out to them they will never show up to help. I just wish I knew that when I was younger.
Life wasn't easy for me when I was growing up, my dad did terrible things to me... I don't like thinking about the things he did. My mom was kind, she did her best to protect me and my siblings but, I wish I protected her when I had the chance. My brothers and my sister where my only friends ( I wasn't very social in school ) we did everything together! And we stayed together and helped one another if dad ever got to us. I loved them so much I never wanted to leave them. Until I left one night I ran away from home and never looked back...

I blink out of my thoughts as I feel something wet land on my face. I look up and my face gets showered with water. How long was I walking? I only went out to get food and the trip back isn't that long. Oh well. I spot the hide out and run to the building not wanting to stay in the rain. I enter the dark passage and knock on the door. " Who is it?" I recognized the voice it was Toga.
" You know who it is open the door! I don't wanna stay out here in the rain! " " Hmm... what's the password? Hehe! " *SIGH* "Toga, we don't have a password to get in the base" by this point my clothes are now soaking wet. " Yes we do! Me and Twice made it!" " Well, I don't know it so let me in I'm getting cold!" " Awww well, I guess you just have to stay outside in the rain all night! Sorry Dabi!" I hit my head on the door and bang against it. I then quickly remembered I had something for Toga.          " Oh... I guess I will have to stay in the rain...with all the food and...the present I got you" The door quickly opens and Toga stands there excited and jumping up and down. " Really?! You got me a present! I wanna see!" I pull out sharp knives out of my pocket and hand it to her " I saw yesterday that most of your knifes are dull so I got new ones for you" she pokes her finger with one of the knifes and blood bleeds out. " thanks! I needed sharper knives... Ok, Dabi you can come in now! I'm gonna go play!"
She runs off and goes into her room giggling the way there and she slams the door. I close the door and walk into the hideout. I sit on a stool and open the bag I have in my hand. I pull out some bags of chips and a few cans of soda also, some white rice. I put it all on the counter and take the white rice and put it in the fridge then I come back to see the chips and soda are gone. I then look over to Tomura who is on the couch playing animal crossing and eating chips while Toga is drinking some soda. I walk up to them grab a bag of chips and leave. As I'm leaving Tomura yells " Hey! My Doritos! " I ignore him and run to my room slam the door. I hide the Doritos under my bed and change out of my wet clothes. Once I'm done I lay on my bed ( still a little wet from the rain ) and try to go to sleep.

"Hey Toya?" I look over to my little brother.
" What?" He looks at me then the ground. " Can you promise me something?" " Anything! What is it?" He walks closer to me. " That...no matter what happens we'll still happy and together in the end" I look at him, I almost want to cry. " yeah...we'll be together me, you, mom, and Fuyumi and Natsuo!" I say with a smile. He smiles back and hugs me. " I just don't want anyone getting hurt anymore". I look down at him. " Cause I see you and mom get hurt everyday"
I stand still. I pull him closer into the hug. " Don't worry, in the end we'll all have each other and nothing and keep us apart" I cry but I don't realize. I don't care what happens to me I just want everyone I love to be safe. " we're gonna be fine Shoto"

Dabi POV
" SHOTO! " I woke up in a cold sweat and I'm shaking. What? What was that? I hope no one heard me. I get up and head for the bathroom. I walk in and close the door and turn on the sink. I splash the rushing water on my face. I look in the mirror. I'll be fine. After all these years is he ok? I ask myself this every time I have one of those dreams. I wonder... how is my little brother now? I'll never know cause I can never talk to him again. I walk back to my room and try to go to sleep. I'll see him again one day...

Right?

This is my first fanfic so I hope this is good! I'll try to update it as soon as I can. I really hope that this goes well. I have outline of where I want the story to go so, I'll try to stick to that! Anyway thanks for reading and I'll see ya in the next chapter.  ( 939 words )
