MICHELLE's Point Of View
"Congratulations to our best player of the game. Mommy's so proud of you!" I said as I kiss his forehead.
"Thank you, Mommy! Btw, where is Daddy?" Xian asked.
"Ahhh. He just went out to go to the CR" I said. "Go to the dug out first. Your teammates are waiting for you."
*As soon as Xian went inside the dugout, Miguel came.

"Where's Xian?" He asked
"He's in the dug out. Let us just wait for him in the parking lot." I said
"I'm sorry, I wasn't able to watch the game." I just smiled at him.
"Don't say sorry to me, say sorry to your son." I said and walked to the parking lot.

*Miguel and I have been married for 18 years already. We got married when we were 24, we waited one year before Xian came. It was a tough process because we need to undergo some tests to know if we're going to have a baby. After a year of trying, Xian finally came.

"Yow, Dad! Xian greeted his father before he went into the car. "I didn't see you in the crowd a while ago. Did you watch my game?" Xian asked
"I was kinda late but I saw your game in the live stream, you were so good." Miguel said and smiled to Xian.
"Thanks, Dad!" Xian replied

*Ohhh Miguel, how are we going to make him understand.

"Is Xian already sleeping?" Miguel asked me.
"Yup! I'm also about to sleep. By the way, how's Erine!"
"S-she's fine. Thanks God it's not dengue." He said and went near me.
"How are we going to make Xian understand, Miguel?" I asked him while looking at the ceiling.
"He's a smart boy, Michelle. He will understand it. I'm sorry for what I did, I still want us to stay in this marriage but wanting that is so selfish for me, Michelle. You're not happy anymore. It's wrong to stay in love where it hurts more that it heals. Please forgive me." He said and I couldn't count it anymore how many times he asked for forgiveness.
"It's a long time ago, Miguel. I forgave you already, let's just be the best parents that we can be." I said and wiped my tears.
"When is the first hearing of our annulment?" I asked and I didn't know where I get the guts to ask him about that.

*The next day while we are having our dinner.

"How was your day, Xian?" Miguel asked.
"Good, Dad but the team is sad because Gion is leaving already." He said
"Why is he leaving?" Miguel asked
"His parents got separated." I was shocked and looked at Miguel.
"His mom found out that his dad was having an affair and he got his mistress pregnant that's why Gion with his mom and sisters are flying to US tomorrow." Xian told his dad that made the situation awkward.
"He's so sad. I know how strong Gion is, how brave he is but, he's not the usual Gion a while ago. He looks so weak." I looked at Miguel and he let out a heavy sigh.
"He should be strong, he's the big man of the family now." Miguel said.
"What are you talking about, dad? We're just 16 and we have the right to be weak at times, if I were Gion, I might loose myself." Xian said to his dad.
"Dad...."
"Yes son?" Miguel asked
"You won't do that to mommy, right? You won't do anything that may ruin our family." Xian said and I just looked outside because anytime my tears will come out.
"I..I..I promise. I won't do that." Miguel said.
