Meeting the Father

(Y/N) POV 17 year old. 3 months after escape. 1 month before beacon.

Ever since we left Tai, my sisters and I have been on the run. Afraid and homeless we had to find apartments to stay in. We had to leave them before someone found us. I had to "borrow" money from people to get food. I wish I could do better. But in Vales Kitchen, they don't help anyone except themselves. I had to protect Yang and Ruby everywhere we went. People kept making sexual advances on them both. Ruby somehow thought they had different meanings when they said fun. I had Yang hide Ruby. Then I would show them my version of fun. I would beat those people to bloody pulps. Then I wouldn't let my sisters look back. In fear that they would be traumatized by what they might see. I knew that I would have to do something to help them. But what?

Yang: (Y/N)? What are we going to do?
(Y/N): I will think of something. Until then, just keep moving forward. I will keep watch.
Yang: No you need sleep. Ruby help me out.
Ruby: You do need sleep. Yang and I will take turn watching. It's ok.

I then felt something hit me and knock me out.

Yang POV
Ruby: Why did you knock him out?!
Yang: I had to. You and I both know he won't sleep. He needs it. More than us. I am going to find us some food.
Ruby: You mean steal?

I then give Ruby a look of 'Really' and go to find some food. I can't wait for beacon. I will be able to train to make. Sure no one suffers like we did. Dad, no, Tai will pay one day. I know that much. As long as I don't get caught, I should be fine.

3Rd POV
Yang is walking down a dark street and sees what looks like an abandoned food stand. It has every kind of food. Like a mini general stand. So she goes to grab some protein bars, and apples. As she is collecting the food a police officer is doing a patrol round and sees Yang.

Police: Ma'am? What are you doing?

Yang turns around in fear, drops the food and runs with the policeman in pursuit. She makes many twists and turns, but no matter how hard she tried she couldn't lose him. She gets to a dead end and is arrested.

Time skip Next Day
Ruby POV
Yang hasn't gotten back yet. I am worried, tired and ready for sleep. I hear movement and turn to see brother wake up.

(Y/N): Who the hell did that?! That stung!
Ruby: Yang did it. You needed sleep. You looked worse than you normally do. But at least you're awake. I need sleep. Yang never came back.
(Y/N): What?!

I am officially awake and scared right now! I haven't seen him this worried before. And he is my brother, who doesn't know fear.

(Y/N): Ruby, What was she doing?
Ruby: She was getting food for us.
(Y/N): Ok. Let's go out and look for her.

(Y/N) POV
We began our search through the Kitchen, as we like to call Vales Kitchen. I heard murmurs of someone who got arrested, caused a ruckus, and had....blonde....hair. Oum please say it ain't so.

(Y/N): Ruby, on my left. Who is talking?
Ruby: Some person with a bag and camera. Probably a journalist. Why?
(Y/N): Let's go talk to him or her.
Ruby: It is a her.
(Y/N): Thanks for the heads up.

We go over to her before she gets in a car.

Ruby: Excuse me?
Lady: Yes dear, what is it?
(Y/N): We are looking for our sister. She is my height, Caucasian, has lilac eyes but red when angry, blonde hair. Seen her around here?
Lady: Yes sir. Unfortunately she was arrested last night for thievery. She will be at court in 2 days. I'm sorry.
(Y/N): Thank you for your help Ms. or Mrs.
Lady: Jones. Jessica Jones. I can help a little bit. I know a team who can help you. Nelson and Murdock. They can help with your case.
(Y/N): Jessica, you are a saint. Thanks for the help.
Ruby: Where are they?
Jessica: I was about to take you to them, but they are across the street right now. You better hurry!

I then felt a whoosh as Ruby bolted over

Jessica: Aren't you going?
(Y/N): I am blind. Could you give a hand?
Jessica: Sure.
(Y/N): You don't seem like a happy person. Wanna talk about it?
Jessica: Want to no. Need to my choice.
(Y/N): ok. I am always willing to talk. Also since you're a journalist you should be able to find me.
I said with a smirk on the ending
Jessica: how did you know I was a journalist?
(Y/N): My sister told me you had a bag and camera. So I assumed from that point. And the alcohol gave away you drown yourself to forget something.
Jessica: ....
(Y/N): You there?
Jessica: Who are you? What do you want?
She then, surprisingly, picked my up and pinned me to a wall.
(Y/N): 1 you are really strong? 2 I'm just some kid who knows a soul in pain. 3 I just want to know my father and protect my sisters.
Jessica: .... Sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. I just don't want to have someone bad in my life again.
???: Jessica! Cmon the kind wont hurt you. I mean he is blind like me apparently.
Jessica: I was just making sure he wasn't a threat.
Matt: Is he?
Jessica: Not to me.
She proceeds to put me down and I feel around for my cane. But I forgot it was down to billy club stick size.
Ruby: here it is brother.
(Y/N): thanks Ruby.
I activate walking stick mode.
( just where the walking stick retracts. But imagine it coming out)

Matt: Nice trick.
(Y/N): Thanks. My little sister here made it for me. We need to go to your office to discuss this case.

Time skip 1 hour
We got Matt's office and I could tell they don't have a lot of money.
???: Hey Matt! I found a case we could... who are those two.
Matt: Foggy, these are our clients (Y/N) and Ruby. We have a case to work with them.
Foggy: Matt could we talk?
Matt: Sure

They go into another room thinking I wouldn't hear. But I could hear them.

Foggy: Matt? What are you doing?
Matt: Helping someone who has been through bad stuff. Their sister is in jail. They can't take anymore loss. Cmon we have to help them. And their "Dad" is the new kingpin of crime.
Foggy: Fine. Just know I don't agree with this.

I stopped listening in and called for Ruby, who came like a flash.

Ruby: What's up bro?
(Y/N): What did you tell them?
Ruby: Everything. It was the only way I knew to convince them. I'm sorry
(Y/N): It is ok. Let's just... wait everything. Even the bad?
Ruby: Not in detail. But he does remind me of you. You two do look similar.
(Y/N): Interesting. Does he know Raven?
Ruby: I don't know. Hey guys! Will you take our case?
Matt: Sure. The law here is different. As long as we convince them she had no choice. The law here is different. We are somewhat sympathetic.

(I know the law doesn't work this way. But for this I will be done)

(Y/N): Matt? Could we talk? In private?
Matt: Sure. Plus we need to discuss things.

We go out the door and into an alleyway.

Matt: What is your name? Full name
(Y/N): (Y/N) "Hawke" Branwen
Matt: Mother?
(Y/N): Raven. Raven Branwen.
Matt: I guess that means you're my son. Wow. I never thought we would be meeting. Are you really blind?
(Y/N): Somewhat. I can still somewhat see. My other four senses are able to make a visual image. Nothing definite though.
Matt: My ability is the same as yours. Just stronger.
(Y/N): Nice to meet you Dad. Let's go get Yang safe!

Originally you would've been able to trigger it automatically. Turn it on and off. But your eyesight was taken. Now it's permanent. Also girlfriend(s) will need to be chosen. Make decisions. They can be RWBY girls. Or Marvel. Or both. I don't plan on a harem. If I get enough comments it will be allowed. But a select amount. Not every girl. Also no gender bending.
