"Hey."Mary whispered as she walked into the kitchen. Jules grinned at her daughter as she sat at the kitchen table drawing for an art project she was working on for work. It was to go on display at the planetarium. "Are you coming to Homecoming?" Mary asked as she poured coffee into two cups and handed one to her mom as she sat down beside her.

"Uh yeah. I am. It will be weird seeing the group again." Jules answered as she thanked her daughter for the coffee.

"All as bitchy as their children." Mary smirked as she sat down crossed legged on the chair whilst she drank her coffee.

"Is nobody speaking to you?" Jules asked and Mary shrugged her shoulders a little as she placed the cup down on the table.

"Jug is, but I knew he would never leave me. Betty is trying but she's too close to Veronica and Archie. Reggie is done with me." Mary explained but she was over it all. Over the people that used to be her friends, over Riverdale High.

"Honey, it's high school. It will all blow over." Jules promised and Mary smiled to herself. Southside High was going to be her diamond in the rough, that was what she reckoned at least.

"I have a new start where I can be me." Mary smirked and Jules looked like she had remembered something as she jumped a little in her chair.

"That reminds me, I got FP to get a serpent to help you out on your first day. Her name is Toni Topaz and you'll like her." Jules explained and Mary rolled her eyes.

"Yay, mommy's making friends for me." Mary grinned sarcastically and Jules raised an eyebrow.

"I am not taking any chances. It's a war zone in there." Jules stated and she knew from experience.

"Mom, please stop. You are just selling this to me." Mary joked around sarcastically Jules shoved Mar playfully by the shoulder.

"Have you got everything organised for homecoming?" Jules asked motherly and Mary pointed to Jules. Jules had these amazing black heels that were going to go with Mary's purple jumpsuit. Mary needed them.

"I just need your shoes." Mary pleaded as she held her hands out in the begging position. Jules sighed because she could not say no to that face.

"Well, go get them!" Jules smiled and Mary lunged towards her mom as she hugged her.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Mary screamed out in glee because that was going to pull the look together. Mary pulled out of the hug and collected herself. "Is your shoes in your closet?" Mary asked as she began to walk into her mom's room. It was bright red and had artwork all over the place. Including in the bathroom, especially the bathtub for some weird reason. It had paintings of the galaxy and more!

"In the red shoe book!" Jules shouted from the kitchen and Mary opened up the mirror wardrobe. She looked where all the shoe boxes were, they were all red.

"They're all red." Mary whispered to herself and then her eyes fell on the one that caught her eye. "Maybe it's this one." Mary continued to whisper to herself as she pulled it out and took off the lid. "What the fuck?" Mary whispered to herself as she looked down at a photo of FP and Jules in their early twenties. They looked like they were in love. Mary quickly gathered the box, ran into her room and locked her bedroom door.

"Mars, are you okay?" Jules shouted and Mary ran up to the door so Jules would hear.

"Yeah, mom, I am just getting changed!" Mary shouted back before she sat down next to the shoe box. She picked up more photos and they were all of Jules and FP Jones. Mary was so confused and she just could not wrap her head around it, they were in love round about the time Jules got pregnant. Then everything clicked for Mary when she saw a letter, a letter that was never sent.
