"I'm really enjoying our time together, Kaname." she says. "So am I, Midnight." he replies. We continue to walk together when someone blocks our path. Without warning, the mysterious person mutters something and Midnight gasps. The spell goes to hit her but Kaname gets in the way. "MIDNIGHT! RUN!" he shouts. "NO!" she screams and tries to run to him. "GO!" he screams. She nods and runs away. When she is at a safe distance, she turns around to see Kaname screaming in pain. The aura around him is like shadows. She stands there, helpless, as he slowly loses his energy and blacks out. Seeing him lying there, not moving, makes her turn around and run.
