Landon met me after my last class of the day which was around 1:30pm with two cups of hot chocolate. His nose was slightly red from the weather and his dimples deepened when he smiled as he saw me walk stumble out the giant glass doors. I tightened my scarf around my neck as the wind blew harshly around my body and walking quickly to catch up to him.

"You're a lifesaver." I mumble and gratefully take the cup and take a quick sip of the warm liquid.

"I try..So how were your classes?" He laughs as we begin walking towards the nearest subway station. I tell him about my classes and my weird literature professor who kept on complaining about her ex-husband and about how he had an affair with one of his co-workers. He laughs and adjusts the beanie on his every so often, as I continue aimlessly telling him how one guy fell asleep in my AP writing class and my professor threw the chalk board eraser at his head.

"Classic move! So did he wake up?" Landon asks as we walk down the stairs and swipe our metro cards without missing a beat.

"No! he just kept on sleeping! But he has a huge chalk stain on the side of his head."

There's a quick silence as we wait for our train to arrive, which usually takes about three minutes. The train finally arrives and the door open and I'm almost knocked over by the mass of people awaiting to come out. I clutch onto Landon's hand frantically so I won't get left behind, or worse, get run over by the crowd. We weave through the mass of people on the train until we find a pair of vacant seats in the very back. We continue talking about the randomest of things and I finally realize that neither of us bothered to unlace our intertwined fingers.

Landon dropped me off at my apartment and said that he had to change to go to work and that he'll text me when he clocks out. I walk into the apartment and find Payton and Cam making out on the couch and don't even notice the commotion I'm making on purpose.

"Ugh, for fuck's sake, get a room" I grumble and they spring apart in an instant.

Payton's flustered face turns beet red as she tries to adjust the strap of her tank top without me noticing. I noticed. Cam looks around awkwardly but then he gives me a once over with hungry eyes and licks his lips. I scoff and roll my eyes and begin to trudge upstairs, but then stop abruptly- I don't see the familiar red head around.

"Pay- where's Skylar?" I stop on the second step and turn to her.

"Um, she said that she was going to Soho, to do some shopping." She shrugs her shoulders and casually runs a hand through her hair.

"Without me? That bitch."

I grumble and make my way up the stairs and into my room. To my surprise- it's clean. there's usually a pile of clothes beside the bathroom because I'm too lazy to buy an hamper and my bed is usually disheveled and also my dresser. My bed is made nice and neat and my dresser has all of the drawers closed and the contents on top sorted accordingly. Make-up in one section, perfume, lotion and jewelry. I mentally thank Skylar for being the best person alive because I know that Payton wouldn't have the time to do this to my room.I mean I love Payton, - but right now I'm loving Skylar a little bit more. I set my bag down beside the door and hang my jacket in the closet. I have so much homework to do. I have to do a five hundred word essay for literature on whatever topic we choose and I have to write a poem, or any form of writing in my AP writing class on a time where you felt a strong emotion towards someone. My essay is due on Saturday and my poem is due on Wednesday/ I'm trying to start on my poem today, but I know that I can't do it here because Payton and Cam brought their make out sesh to the bedroom and now all I hear are loud moans neither of them are trying to surpress. I put on a pullover sweater and grab the essentials that I need and head out.
