Heather McSparron developed skills to perform well in Civil Air Patrol

Possessing a deep knowledge of the nature of substance use, Heather McSparron served as a drug demand reduction administrator. She was also aware of the substance use disorders as well as the evidence based drug demand reduction interventions. Besides, she worked collaboratively with the colleagues to achieve the organizational goals and solicited the inputs by genuinely valuing the ideas and expertise of others.

Heather was involved as a volunteer member with Civil Air Patrol from 2006-2016. Being an auxiliary of Air Force, Civil Air Patrol abides by the specific rules and regulations. Holding various positions including Finance Officer, Public Affairs Officer, Personnel, Testing Officer, Drug Demand Reduction Officer, and Squadron Commander, Heather developed the skills required to perform at these positions quite well. She learned how to conduct herself in a quite professional manner.

From 18-20 January 2008, all cadets and senior members in Florida Wing joined their hands together to participate in Special Activities Selection Board at Patrick Air Force Base. With the assistance of Heather McSparron, this event comprised of many areas of competition, right from boards to athletic challenges and academic evaluation.

Besides a drug demand reduction administrator, Heather McSparron served as a proposal specialist at a local government contracting company DRS in 2007. Here, he developed the skills to create Request for Quotes (RFQ), analyze the proposals, read the technical drawings, and understand the technical evaluations. She also learned how to make effective interactions between external customers, internal customers and suppliers.

Pertaining to her education credentials, Heather McSparron is currently studying at Purdue University Global where she is pursuing Bachelors in Business Management. She also attended Everest University for 2 years while working and transferred the credits to Purdue. Thereafter, she started her online courses in Iraq.
