The 2019 election cycle will barely ripple outside of the Judson School District, where seven candidates will vie for three trustee seats.
The only Metrocom area city with council seats up for grabs May 4 is Universal City.
Relative unknown Angel L. Suarez will try to unseat one of three incumbents: S. Bear Goolsby, Richard "Dick" Neville and William R. Shelby. Universal City voters can cast ballots for three people, filling the three at-large seats up for election.
The new Judson ISD election cycle finds incumbent District 1 Trustee Suzanne Kenoyer unopposed in her re-election bid. District 1 encompasses northern sections of Live Oak and Universal City, as well as Selma and neighborhoods surrounding the TPC area in far northern San Antonio.
