It's Only A Piece of My Heart

Darling dearest, oh how you make me dream.

Your smile, your eyes, your hands and your laughter are only a few things I adore. My heart soars whenever our eyes meet and my skin is on fire everytime we touch. Every second without you, steals tiny shards of my heart and every smile I get add years to my life.

I don't want to spend a second away from you, even if we do. But all that time can be regained through the laughters, the tears and stolen glances.

I want to steal you away, just for a night and stand so close I can hear your heartbeat.

I want to eat good food and poke your dimples to make you laugh.

I want to hold your hand as we lie in the grass, my thumb running along the hills and valleys of your knuckles.

I want to press soft kisses to your jaw as we move slowly to the hum of your voice, because we need no music, my darling.

I want to feel the softness of your hair between my fingers as I play with your locks and I want to inhale the scent of your cologne in the soft pit of your clavicle.

I want to be close, so close that your lips brush against mine and your shirt buttons get caught in the lace of my dress.

I want to feel my heart skip a beat as your fingers brush against my skin, the hairs on my body rising at the sensation.

Your warm breath mingling with mine and our hands intertwined.

For you have stolen my heart and I want a piece of yours.

If only just for one night.
