Azriel barely slept at night. He kept thinking of what Laura had said when they rescued Elain. You just started war with war. What did that mean? Maybe all of the events that happened had some kind of connection. His poisoning, Elain's kidnapping and that weird statement that kept ringing in the shadow singer's mind. The morning seemed to be a whole eternity away. Azriel swore. Of course. The shadow singer made his way out of his room and straight to the library. It was dark but Azriel liked that. It took him forever to find what he was looking for. The Truth That's Been Hidden. He remembered flipping through this book years ago. He found the right page. Laura. Right there on the picture. He read.  Before the earth and before gods themselves seven figures rode into our world. Each of them created a court that became their territory. They created life and then passed their rule onto the Fae creating high lords. When they died their heirs took over their place. And now millions of years later, their are heirs some younger and some older. They are goddesses. Laura is the god of war. Powerful. No one ever fought her and came back alive.
Azriel's breathing was ragged. Oh no. Laura was a god. A god. He started war with war. Laura was war itself. Azriel swore. He hurried back up taking the book with him. He was mere feet away from his room when he saw her sitting there. "Hey, what were you doing?" Elain asked. Azriel panicked. "Reading a book, I can't sleep." She smiled a little bit. "Me neither." She got up. "I need to talk to you."

Hi guys! I know it's been a while but I was working on a couple other stories. By the way thank you a million for all the votes. Oh and we got a 1k readers thank you soooo much!!!! I would appreciate any ideas. Do you think I should add other perspectives into the stories. If yes please let me know. Hopefully the next chapter will come out sooner. Again sorry for the long wait.
