Ice Cream Sundae Mountains

Alison's POV

I fly through the air with my nightmare, Kay, Toby, and Lily. I wasn't sure that 4 people could fit on the nightmare, but I guess I was wrong.

"Where did you get this nightmare?" asks Lily who was hanging off the back.

"From the Kingdom of Darkness," I reply. Kay rolls her eyes. She was clearly mad at me, but she needs to calm down, I clearly saved their butts back there. Without me, they would be lost for days!

"So, where to next?" asks Toby. Everyone was silent.

Kay's POV

Over the mountains, across the river, through the valley of thorns, lays the being you have been waiting for. What does that mean? Probably its directions to the head alicorn? Suddenly I remember the message Jupiter was supposed to receive. We haven't read it yet. I should probably read it later.

"Is there any mountains in Unicorn Landia?" I ask.
"Yeah, the Ice Cream Sundae Mountains." replies Lily.

"Ok lets go there!" I announce.

"Why?" asks Alison.

"I don't know we might as well try everywhere."

"But why a mountain?" asks Toby.

"I don't know just go!"

I look over to see the mountains. It was full of complete white snow with a cherry on top?

"Lets land on that small mountain over there!" announces Lily. I looked around the mountain range looking for a river. There it is. The river. We just have to cross the huge mountain range to the get to the river.

We land on the summit of a small mountain. Alison bends down, takes some of the snow, and eats it.

"Hmm, it tastes like vanilla," she announces.

"Well we are on ice cream mountains, so everything is either made of ice cream or a delicious ice dessert," explains Toby.

"Ice cream!?" I ask excidetly. I immediatly start shoving the ice cream in my mouth.

"Umm, Kay?"asks Lily very confused. I look up at my friends who are staring at me like I'm a starving hobo who hasn't eaten in weeks.

"We don't get dessert at the orphanage," I explain shamefully.

"Honey, you don't want to ruin your girlish figure, take small bites if you are going to eat that much ice cream," explains Alison very motherly like. I look down at my hands that are still wet from my recent eating spree.

"Ok, lets just get going."

"I really need some guy friends," mumbles Toby.

I told my friends that we need to go down the river, they surprisingly cooperated with my idea. Of course when you are riding on horseback from the sky everything looks much smaller to you than it does from eye level, so of course the mountain was huge and it was very cold. Incase you forgot we are all wearing formal attire and this formal outfit was not made for the cold.

Alison's POV

Nightfall started to arrive and we were no where close to the largest mountain of the moutian range. I look over at my group who were all shivering. Why did we have to take the mountains? What are we even looking for?

"Hey Kay, what are we looking for?"I ask impatiently.

"Jupiter, of course," she replies very confidently.

"How do you even know we are looking in the right place?"

"Don't question my logic, ok?" I sigh. This was hopeless. Wow, I never thought I would say something that was hopeless. I am the optimistc one and Kay is the pessimistic one, but instead she is the hopeful one and I'm the hopeless one. If Kay knows this is correct and she is very hopeful about it, then I should too.

Kay's POV

This was hopeless. I know for sure I'm going the wrong way, but I can't let everyone else know that because then they will never trust me again. Maybe that dream was a fake, but maybe it was real. I will never really know for sure.

"We should really find somewhere to sleep," announces Toby.

"Yeah, probably, I see a little cave maybe we can sleep there," points out Lily. We rush to the cave. It looked safe enough, but I had a pessmistic feeling that it wasn't. Toby peers inside the cave.

"All clear!"he shouts. Everyone looks a little skeptical. Then we saw it. Two big ice wolves appear behind Toby. Nobody moves or says a word, we all just stare very scared like.

"What?" asks a very confused Toby. Just then the wolves howl and Toby looks behind him. He quickly jumps out of their way. The wolf comes charging at me. I stand there all frozen. I had to do something, but I didn't have any weapons. Then it hits me, I looked down and picked up the snow. I start throwing it at the wolves. It didn't help much. I quickly use my cat like reflexes to kick the wolf in the jaw. I whimpers in pain and scampers away. The second wolf follows it with its tail between its legs. I look at my friends all triumphant like.

"Well, shall we sleep?" I ask grinning from ear to ear.

Minka Way's POV
Jupiter is gone? How could this happen? I was looking through my magic ball at my messengers who went to the Alicorn Kingdom. I just hope they don't look at the message it could ruin my plan and my lies and secrets and the Kingdom of Light will fall and Unicorn Landia will be doomed. They must find Jupiter. Hmm, I think I know where he might be, but not for sure. I quickly head to the records room of all the letter I have received. I go to a safe that holds one letter. It was from Jupiter many years ago. It explains where he is going, but in the form of a riddle. I shall send this message to Kay telepathically.

"Over the mountains, across the river, through the valley of thorns, lays the being you have been waiting for." I spoke through my magic ball hoping Kay will get the message.
