I walk out of the door
Now even daylight seems charcoal
I was too busy searching my shadow
But i know the pain that my fragile heart holds..
I'm done cursing God
for what he gave me and what he din't
and the biggest reason is You..
Don't you know I need rescue
I try to save myself from regret
of choosing the wrong battle..
The scars of which haven't faded yet..
Still I stand, stand for you..
And I remember the time
When you chose someone else to share your secrets
And here I am waiting for my turn to come!
Time isn't mine and I need you by my side
And im running in circles remembering what was it like..
I'm missing the courage that once I had
But this time I really need you to watch my back!..
Still I'll be standing, standing for you..
And I keep waiting for someone
to detract me from this fatal game..
And Im searching hard,
Searching hard for a substitute to my pain..
