Stepping into the restaurant felt like stepping into the past. The smells, the sights... it was all coming back to me. The sound of my small footsteps bounced off the arcade-style carpet floors of the arcade to the black and white tiled walls, covered in posters and streamers. I looked out into the hall, the lights dimmed low to almost nothing. From the end, I could see the doorway on the other side that lead to the vast main room, bright lights shining with

My feet hit tile, echoing in the small hallway. Slowly, I walked forward. Past the party rooms, past the restrooms... I could feel a dark presence around me. I swiveled around, my eyes wide. Nothing was there, leading me to believe it was only my imagination. I sighed, feeling my heartbeat slow back down. I took a deep breath, moving hair from my face.

The new dining hall was massive. The tile walls were spotless, the carpet clean and brand new, and the tables set, as if awaiting an upcoming party. My hand softly ran along the along the thin fabric of the tablecloth, picking up small bits of glitter loosely attached to it's surface. I smiled, my eyes travelling upwards... there they were.

Their metal exteriors glimmered in the stage lights, their luminous glows bouncing off their polished chest plates. The stage was bright, vivid with colors and shapes. The background was a simple tile, with LED lights strung from one end to the other. Cardboard children were plastered to the wall's surface, their painted faces smiling behind the main attractions. Looking forwards, the three massive forms came into focus. There was the purple bear, the yellow rabbit... and the cyan bear. Everyone knew their names. Everyone recognized them from billboards and ads.

                    To the right was Lavender.

She stood next to Macy, her purple exterior dim in the low light of the side of the stage. She stood ready, as if waiting to entertain a massive amount of children. Her electronic smile beamed proudly, her eyes staring to her right, towards the center of the stage. She held her smaller microphone, her hand in a death grip around its gray handle, the mic at her chest. Her other hand outstretched to her side, the hand open to expose the black, unpainted metal underneath.

To the left, Miranda stood next to Macy.

She stood proud on the stage, her eyes practically glowing... she seemed so active, even at this late hour. Her guitar hung from the strap around her neck, resting against her yellow chest plates. She was grinning, as if she was planning something malicious. No one though she could, however. She had been standing on that stage for ages...

                    In front was Macy.

Her glimmering metal was just polished after the grand reopening, shining brighter than the rest. She stood posed, her hand on her hip and her microphone to her face, like she was ready to break out in song. Her mouth was open in a smile, welcoming the new guests that wouldn't come until tomorrow. Her ears perked up towards the sky, as if listening to the silence that surrounded her. Yet, something seemed off. Her eyes looked forward towards the other wall, cold and lifeless.

                    She wasn't like the others.

Daddy hasn't given her life yet.
