Realization

Lumine's POV
"I love you..."Kody said before kissing me softly, my eyes widened in shook before he broke the kiss I stared at him in confusion, dazed.I could tell he was about to cry

"I'm sorry I didn't know what I was thinking..."He whispered looking down before running further in to the woods

Realization hit me like a bullet, I didn't answer his confession.I ran toward the school forgetting the use of the bus. I smelled the air seeing his scent wasn't around the building I went in to the forest smelling the air to try to get his scent.After a few minutes of searching I just decided to go to the place we're I last saw him.I eventually found his scent.After I few seconds I found something lingering in the air, it was going to rain.I ran toward Kody's scent trying to find the raven haired boy.After I few minutes I felt a drop of water fall to my nose, I had to hurry and find him before he gets a fever.

I past a few trees before finding a shaking small figure who was whimpering.I took of my coat and put it on Kody.He glanced up at me and blushed slightly, his eyes puffy and his tear stained face rubbed against the fabric.

"Lumine...."he whispered his voice hoarse

"I'm sorry I-I was surprised..."I whispered before hugging him making sure he was getting warm.Water poured on us as the forest became dark.

"We should go it's getting dark.." I whisper before noticing he fell asleep his cheeks red.I placed my forehead against his, his temperature was high....he had a fever.I ran toward the path and ran toward the direction of home. I barged in to the house frantically looking for someone to help us, but before I knew it I fell and leaned on the wall.Once I got my composure back I laid Kody down on the couch and looked around the house to try and find something hot to give to Kody to get his fever down.I looked on the fridge to see a note from Aiden.

Dear,Lumine and Kody

I'm going to be gone for 2 weeks, I hope you two can handle being alone at home responsibly and to go to school on time, and eat all your meals. I shall be back at 9 am, 2 weeks from now.Have a fun time

I smile kinda glad that he was gone before my mind went into some lustful thoughts I brought hot water and tea to Kody and but a hot cloth on his forehead. I sat beside him staring uncontrollably as I slowly fell asleep.

Kody's POV
I woke up to see Lumine leaning on my arm as I laid on the couch.I touched my throat and felt the inside of my throat being horse and hurt like fire burned the insides of my throat. I looked to see tea at the small table next to me, I picked it up and sipped the warm tea. I put the empty cup back on the table and rested my head on the arm of the couch, remembering what happened the day before and immediately blushed remembering the feeling of Lumine's lips against mine.My eyes started watering as I remembered the look on his face after I kissed him.

"Kody!"I jumped at my name being called a tear sliding down my cheek.After a few seconds Lumine wiped away the tears that slid down my face, and cupped his hand against my cheek. I stared at him tears falling uncontrollably.

"Kody please don't cry..."he whispered before hugging me

"Don't touch me!"I yelled falling off the couch my eyes closed shut

"I'm sorry about yesterday.....but in my defense you didn't really wait for me to answer,"he whispered the last part lustfully making my eyes open and widen.He crawled over to me and smiled

"I love you Kody..."he whispered softly making my spine shiver

"Lumine.....I love you too," I whispered softly before hugging Lumine in to a tight embrace while crying tears of joy
