•Noah POV•

I knew how to save her.

There were no windows, so we couldn't get out that way.

There was only one way out and it's the heavy door that was trapping us down here.

If I put the necklace on her and pushed the button to activate it, Luke would know we needed help.

By activating it, a text is sent to Luke with the exact location. This is our way out.

Frantically, I kept rubbing the rope, trying to break it. It was minutes before it finally snapped in two.

I was free.

I quickly ran over to Leilani and inspected at her leg. It was bad, really bad.

The cut was almost to the bone.

Although there were larger concerns, my head swarmed with worry that she would lose her leg.

I untied her from the chair and laid her on the cold ground.

Laying her down makes it possibly for her blood to flow evenly throughout her body.

I then ripped my shirt off and tied it on her leg as a tourniquet, to stop the bleeding.

There was nothing else we could do, but wait. I placed the necklace around her neck and activation.

All that's left for us to for us to do is wait for the sound of the front door slamming open.

That would signal that Luke was there.

•••

Many minutes later, we were still waiting. I grew increasingly worried as each second ticked by.

I suddenly saw Leilani's hand move.

Had she finally woken up?

She hadn't. This was all just one big waiting game.

I checked Leilani's pulse every few minutes, worried that her deathly look would soon take her life as well.

Moments later I heard the door break down and the screams of my fellow gang friends, Luke, and Leilani's "parents" filled the house.

"Noah!" I heard Luke yell.

"I'm downstairs with Leilani! The door's locked we can't get out!" I shouted back as loud as I can.

"Okay! We can get you out!"

•••

Luke called AJ and told him that he needed to deal with Leilani parents.

AJ nods and with a couple other people, went to find her parents.

John and Regina stood no chance against the gang members.

They were immediately captured and put into the gang's black SUV.

While they were being handled, Luke was trying to get the door open, but it wouldn't budge.

It was rigged somehow and Luke couldn't figure out how to open it.

•••

"Noah, we can't get the door open!" Luke yelled from the other side of the door.

"You need to hurry, Luke. Leilani has a huge cut in her leg and I don't know how long this tourniquet will last.."

"Oh sh*t!" Luke cursed.

"We need to open this door fast. Call Carter! We need him, get him back here now!" Luke ordered.

I panicked knowing that I had to wait down here while Leilani was bleeding out, she needed to get out now.

I will always hold the guilt that got us stick in this damn house.

I just wanted to get out, I feel like I have been stuck here for eternity.

•••

Luke finally announced that Carter was here. He was the one that knows the most about locks and opening locked doors is his specialty.

I checked on Leilani as Carter was trying to figure out how to open the door.

She was still breathing and she hasn't bled through my shirt I had tied on her leg.

So that is a great sign, Leilani is doing good because her blood loss had stopped being so drastic.

"Noah, we're getting the door open as we speak, so be prepared!" Luke hollered.

"Okay. Leilani's bleeding has stopped, but she still needs to go see our medic!" I shouted back.

"Alright, thanks for the information." Luke told me.

I heard the door rattle and it sounded like Carter was getting the door opened.

We are going to be out of here...soon.

•••

Carter finally opened the door and we were free.

Luke came running in and picked Leilani up off of the cold ground.
