I will never forget the day when The Fate messed with my life, the fact is I can't forget it no matter how hard I try. I can still feel the pain as much as I felt that day.

It was a cozy night under the starlight. I lied on grass field facing the night sky, pretty sure I should had frozen by the cold air that pierced through my bones, but I wasn't. I didn't understand astronomy because I hate physics, but I had enough information to tell the purple-blue light above me was the milkyway—I hope so.

"do you think the stars lived in the past, present, or future?" said a strange woman stood beside me. She was wearing a long white tunic, reflecting the stars. She radiated some power I couldn't explain myself. It must be her doing that I'm not freezing right now, I thought.

"I remember they said the stars lived in the past.."

"how do you feel about it?" she turned to me, but still I couldn't see her face. "is it the strange-mixed warm and cold sensation I'm feeling right now that you ask or something else about the stars I don't understand? And first of all, why do I have to have some feelings to the stars?" I said. She patted her dress, for some moment I saw the reflected stars was dancing on her long tunic, as if the dress had its own night sky. She smiled, did I say something stupid?

"but they do love you.." she said, "..the stars."

"I feel bad for them to love someone like me"

She giggled. "I'd like to let you know that, as long as the stars shines, you will be protected.." she started talking nonsense that I was wondering if she's sane.

"it's too complicated for you to understand, at least for now... but you will, not in the near future.." she said.

"well, thank you?" I said in confusion.

"no need.. on the contrary, people said that my attendance always brings disaster, and I'm asking for your forgiveness for what will happen in the future.." she frowned.

"what the— who are you?" I gasped. I didn't realize that the grass below me move faster. My heart raced.

She walked away, slowly. "as one of the f... I promise you that we will meet again, son of..." she smiled, I couldn't hear what she just say.

It was just a dream. I should had realized that any sooner, nothing in real life which is that strange. A dim soft light went through the room curtain. The room was nine meters square, enough for one person to lived. I recognized the scent, vanilla perfume.

"at least I wake up in my own room" I said as I yawned. I reached to my phone and checked the social media the way normal human did these days.

Are you going home today? From Mom. As soon as I read the message I called my Mom.

.....

.....

.....

"hello"

"hello, Mom.. I'm going home today.."

"oh.. finally my beloved son remember his way home"

"don't make it sounds like I never went home, Mom..."

"but you never did, By..."

"how rude of me" I giggled.

"I know right...though it's only two hours by train..."

"..only two hours..." I repeated, "I'm sorry I was so busy in campus.."

"it's okay, as long as you're happy, By..."

Well, that one hit me like a truck that I felt so bad for Mom, "my happiness is always by your side, Mom..." that sounded so cheesy, I knew that.

Mom laughed, "anyway, By, Mom spotted vanilla seeds in the market yesterday. If you're home tonight we can have a date and eat your favorite vanilla pudding.."

"I'd love to! I'm looking forward to it"

"great! Mom was so lonely without you home..."

I was so weak if it comes to my Mom. She meant the world to me, to raised me without my Dad must be really hard. I never had the chance to meet him, that was a plane crash that killed its whole passengers including my Dad.

Your Dad was a great hero, said my Mom when I was little. We didn't have his photograph, I was wondering how does he looked like. I asked my Mom anytime I saw the black white photo inside history book. That was kinda funny to remember.

He was a great hero, not in any historical books. They don't know how great your father was, said Mom.

"no worries, Mom. I'll be home tonight.."

Later that day, we chatted a little more and then Mom ended the call for me to prepare my homecoming.

That was a good morning talk to start my day.

But now, I hope that I didn't come back home that day.

Hello, it's me again.

It was a long day since the last time I updated my story, I decided to re write the MORNING STAR in English because there're a lot of expression that are better to be written in English so I unpublished the MORNING STAR before this one. I apologize if there any miss spelling or my bad English. Let's hope things will get any better later.

Last but not least, hope you guys enjoy this work.

Thank you!

With love
