Aku yang sejak tadi memejamkan mata sambil mendengarkan lagu di dalam kamar langsung membuka mata dan memandang ke arah pintu. Terlihat ada bayangan seseorang yang datang; Annisa berdiri di sana, tangannya masih dalam posisi mengetuk pintu. Ada keperluan apakah yang begitu pentingnya sehingga Annisa harus datang ke kost malam-malam begini?

"Kak, ada yang perlu Annisa bicarakan sama Kakak," ucap Annisa setelah masuk ke dalam.

"Kamu duduk dulu, Nis." Aku menarik sebuah kursi dan mendorongnya ke arah Annisa. "Apa yang hendak kamu sampaikan sama Kakak?" tanyaku setelah Annisa duduk.

"Kenapa malah diam?" tanyaku lagi karena Annisa tidak langsung bicara. Beberapa kali matanya beralih memandang seluruh isi kamar dan kemudian kembali memandangku yang masih menunggu ia bicara.
