Little Backstory: My best friend can't go to camp for the first time in 5 years because she has epilepsy and she's always in the hospital. She lives 3 hours away from me.
Dear Ash,
I know you can't go to camp this year so I decided to surprise you. I know all your favourite parts of camp and I know you like talking to people so here you go. I'll send you a video later. I decided I'm coming to your house for a week in the summer. I'm gonna bring a mini pool (For Boating and Swimming of course!), Arts and crafts (To sit around and talk while we make friendship bracelets), Some bandannas (For Braveheart (GO WILLIAM WALLACE)), S'more stuff (For the opening campfire where we'll sing Bear Hunt and Bill Grogan's Goat), and finally, devotionals. I know you'll miss camp this year and I promise I will make this the most memorable week ever. Every day we'll do something different. Ashley, you know how important you are to me and it saddens me you can't go to camp. If I could bring you up to camp, I would. On my life I would. I know it won't be as good as camp but hey, I'll be with you for the week. I love you Ashley and I know sometimes I stress you out. So this week will be all about you. No conversations that will bother you. No swearing of course. A whole week about God and friends (Although I'll be the only one there) I'm sorry your epilepsy has been so rough and I want you to know I love you to the moon and back! This will be the perfect date!
