Prologue:

I stare at my white ceiling taking deep breaths to try and calm my raging heart.

The dolphin covered silk blanket feels incredible against my hot naked skin.

My best friend, Scott, is laying beside me breathing heavily but looking satisfied.

I know, its strange that two childhood friends are having sex at sixteen but it gets worse. We had started our friends with benefits agreement when we were fourteen and our hormones began raging.

If you think it's disgusting then it's your own problem.

Of course my mother knows about our agreement. She had caught us in bed together early last year and accepted it. Don't get me wrong, she was pissed with Scott but she came around. She knew what it was like at our age and let us continue as long as we keep ourselves safe. It was funny when she bought Scott a one hundred pack of condoms. He had been stealing his dads'.

My dad and both of Scott's parents don't know about us and my mother had thankfully helped with that.

She is no doubt the best mother in the world.

"Kiara?" Scott asks sounding sad and weary.

I turn to look into his eyes, his beautiful ocean blue eyes which are deffinantely my favorite colour.

Over the last few months his voice has deepened, become gravely and so manly and I love it.

The sound of his voice always turns me on but I know he is serious now so I hold back the erg to jump him a second time.

I smile already knowing what he is going to say. I run my hand through his shaggy hazelnut hair loving the look of peacefulness that crosses his face when I do.

He has a cute little dimple in his left cheek and although he is only 16 he has an almost perfect six pack. Soon enough he would have an eight pack and I know that is his goal.

"I know you asked Stacy out today." I whisper watching his face transform back to pain and his eyes focus on my face worriedly.

News had spread quickly through lunch. It seemed Stacy had to tell everyone that she is now dating the star quarter back of our schools' football team, the Hungry Wolves.

I have to hold back the erg to roll my eyes at how childish she is.

It is a wonder why he asked her out in the first place but if he likes her I won't judge.

His friendship is too precious to me to fuss over a girl he is dating.

"I was going to tell you when I came over today but you kind of jumped me." He chuckles and I smile back.

"This was our goodbye. I wasn't going to let you go with some girl without getting some."

This time Scott let's a loud heart filled laugh and pulls me into his arms for an affectionate hug.

"I love you Key. You're my best friend." He announces kissing my forehead.

I grin at my nickname but something feels off so I just push the feeling away.
