"Y/N get up!!!", I heard my bestie Rachael scream from downstairs. I woke up with an alarm. "WTH Rachael?" I screamed at her when I saw her coming into my room. "You're late for work!!"
I saw the time...
It was 10:00 am
I cursed under my breath and literally jumped out.
I almost fell on my way to the washroom but I managed to take care of myself and got inside quickly and finished my business as soon as possible
I got ready in like 5 minutes(I was surprised at myself) and met Rachael on the front porch
She was waiting for me
"I'm so sorry Rachael", I quickly apologised
"It's fine dummy just get inside the car!"
I'm a private detective you see and tbh my work is hard!!
Waking up in the morning, somehow shoving food inside my mouth, going to work, just sitting at a desk(I've joined recently), listening to my boss complaining, coming back home, watching kdramas, eating junkies and going to bed late EVERY SINGLE DAY!
It's tedious tbh

All theses years of detective novels had made me decide my future career
But....for now......
.......I'm just a good for nothing woman
I handle all types of paperwork, which is very very VERY boring.
But nevertheless, I love my job! Today I am in an extra hurry because I've to submit all the paperwork to my boss who's coming back from the States. Kim Tae Hyung. I've only heard his name but have never seen him. So I had butterflies in my tummy because of all the goddamn nervousness.
"Listen, I'll pick you up at 8, okay?", Rachael said as I was getting out of the car. "Sure thing babe! Bye!"
I dashed up the staircase and when I reached the 5th floor.. I was like this Lil Hamster out of breath.
"Damn you just made it.", my co-worker Songmin commented. "Y-yeahh...*gasp* y-you're right.."
"Well," He was playing with his fingers. "Boss was looking for you."
My breath got caught in my throat.. I quickly cleared my throat. "B-Boss?!"
"Mhm" he continued playing with his fingers...
"Omfg I'm done for!"
"Chillax! He's fine.."
I heaved a sigh of relief. I was still nervous because I didn't know what he was going to be like..
Handsome?
Sexy?
Devilish?
Or...
Angry?
Pissed all the time?
Bald?
I'm weird. Get this.
As I was thinking about this, Songmin got the chance to actually poke my cheeks(I hate that)
"Awww you have cute cheeks!"
I was pissed!
"Yeah, right Songmin! Now.. if you excuse me please? I've to meet the BOSS"
And so saying, I quickly went up to my desk, arranged all the paperwork into small neat clear files and quickly grabbed them before rushing to the Boss' office. I could literally feel my heart go thump thump thump
And I softly knocked on the door.
"Come in", a deep raspy hoarse voice came from the room.
My hands were trembling but I decided to get a hold of myself and opened the door.
His back was facing me.
He had soft brown hair and had a neat posture.
Slightly broad shoulders and a slim and tall frame.
I cleared my throat.
He finally faced me.
He had deep brown eyes and a really...well let's just say...
An extremely handsome face.
I was in awe
I had honestly never seen anyone so handsome in my entire dang life!
The boys in my high school and college were nothing compared to the man standing in front of me.
He slightly leaned against his desk.
And looked at me into the eyes, a soft chuckle following.
"If you're gonna stare at me like that, I might as well check you out, huh?"
His voice knocked my out of my thoughts.
"I..w-well...ummm..."
Ugh this was so embarrassing!! I was blushing like crazy.
Taehyung smiled. He had this beautiful rectangular smile which made my heart go BBOOM BBOOM
"Relax sweetie.. so whore you?"
I tried to relax, like he said
I exhaled greatly
"Good Morning sir, I'm Lee Y/N. I'm in charge of the paperwork here. It's nice to finally meet you." I said smiling. "I'm sorry I'm late, but here are the files." I said, keeping the clear files on his desk.
"Good Day Sir"
So saying I turned and was about to leave when I heard his voice again.
"Nice name. Y/N"
I turned to meet his dark gaze.
I quickly nodded before walking out...
God that was embarrassing....
