The bitter air nipped my cheeks as I stared out beyond the vast horizon.  Gloomy, dark clouds hovered over me, pouring down it's tears of despair.  Waves crashed violently against the steep cliff, sending rocks plunging down towards the deep, dark water.  My hair whipped out behind me like a flag flapping around in the ferocious wind.  My pale lips quivered due to the freezing temperature as my hands turned to the colour of roses.  My eyes were puffy and red after all the crying which left streaks of dry tears to trail down my pitiful face.  The sky looked like black paint spilt carelessly across a piece of clear, white paper.  No one was building sandcastles or swimming on the sea at the beach, as it was too cold and rainy to be here.

I dug my bare feet deeper into the damp sand to prevent them from freezing and crossed my arms over each other, feeling more lonely than ever before.  I am alone now. They left me.  The most important people in my life.  Why did they leave me here by myself?
