Chapter 7

Sunday
Clare's pov
We woke up to Valentina's alarm going off and as much as I would have liked to ignore it and crawl back under the covers I know that we are leaving to New York today and there's no time to waste. So I got up and walked over to my suitcase and grabbed my traveling outfit which is a simple purple long sleeve shirt with black sweatpants and walked into the bathroom to shower since the girls were still waking up. Ten minutes later I was done and decided to leave my hair down so I walked back to the room to see Alena and Tina dressed and putting last minute stuff into the suitcase.

Tina: I am surprised you were the first one to get up
Clare: yeah well I think today I am actually going to cooperate
Alena: haha what brought this miracle?
Clare: we are going to New York and I am excited, I haven't been there in forever!
Alena: that explains it
(Sophia opens the door)
Sophia: oh you girls are awake, I was asked to come and wake you up
Alena: yeah Tina set her alarm
Sophia: oh okay well we are going to get food on the road so just come downstairs with your suitcase when your ready
Girls: okay
(Ten minutes later the girls were ready and they walked downstairs with their luggage)
Kevin: morning girls
Girls: morning
(Nick walks over and hugs Clare)
Nick: how did you sleep?
Clare: good how about you?
Nick: good
Demi: where do you guys want to go for breakfast?
Alena: Ihop!
Joe: everyone okay with IHop?
Them: yeah
Kevin: alright let's go
Danielle: wait we should get another Uber and then from there we can go to a dealership and rent a van because we aren't going to be driving in two cars
Kevin: we have to take two cars though because how are you going to get back to jersey after New York?
Dani: we can come back here after and then you guys can fly out from here
Kevin: okay but it needs to be early because we have to be in Miami by Thursday
Dani: that's fine
Kevin: okay
Alena: guys are we going to keep talking or...
Nick: I just ordered the Uber while they were talking it'll be here in five minutes
Clare's pov
Five minutes the Uber got here and obviously we ordered a van and we put all the luggage in the trunk and there was still enough space but we had to squeeze which was fine because we got to IHOP in about twenty minutes.

Tina: hey guys I don't think we thought this through
Sofia: what do you mean?
Tina: are we going to take the luggage into Ihop?
Demi: she's got a point
Kevin: we are going to have too
Joe: unless we ask the Uber driver to stay with our stuff and we pay him more and he can just take us to the dealership after
Nick: that's not a bad idea I'll talk to him and you guys go get a table
Them: okay
Clare's pov
We walked into Ihop and I was glad that it was still early in the morning and there weren't a lot of people here yet, because it's to early to deal with the fans, a few minutes later a waitress came over and sat us down at the table and dad came back and said the Uber driver had no problem waiting for us so we didn't need to worry about the luggage.

Alena: so what's the plan when we get to New York?
Kevin: well tomorrow we have a radio show and then head to the venue for sound check and the concert and after the concert we have to go to the James Corden show
Clare: I heard the Cole Sprouse was going to be on this week can you introduce us to him!!
Tina: girl calm down he's not that cute, Kj is much better looking
Clare: no way Cole is such a
Nick: cole's such a what?
Clare: great actor on Riverdale and I can't wait to see him in five feet apart
Tina: haha nice save no but seriously what was he like when you guys were on Disney?
Joe: him and Dylan were the little pranksters on set they would sneak into a dressing room and throw a water balloon at whoever was inside
Clare: haha I feel like that would be Dylan's idea
Kevin: it was
(The waitress comes over)
Waitress: hi my name is Amy and I'll be your waitress can I get you guys started on something to drink?
Clare: a hot chocolate please
Tina: me too
Alena: I'll have one as well
Kevin: and I think coffee for all of us right?
Adults: yeah
Amy: okay I'll be right back with the drinks (walks away)
Clare's pov
Breakfast at Ihop went by pretty quickly and soon we were back in the Uber and on our way to the dealership which took an hour because we needed to find a van that would fit all of us and finally we did so we took and we were on the road to New York. The road trip was pretty much us girls watching Netflix on our phones and the adults talking or turning the radio on and occasionally Demi and dad fell asleep but it was around four when we got to the hotel and it took thirty minutes to get the rooms. Uncle Joe and aunt Sophia were sharing one, uncle Kevin and Aunt Dani are sharing with the girls and I am with dad and Demi. Alena, Tina and I wanted to have a room to ourselves but we aren't "trustworthy" enough even if the room was next theirs.

Joe: okay so what's the plan?
Kevin: well we have the rest of the day to do whatever we want and tomorrow the real work starts
Alena: so can we go to the pool!
Dani: I don't see why not, you guys want to throw on your bathing suits?
Tina: yeah
Clare: sure
Demi: alright we'll get ready for the pool and meet you downstairs
Kevin: okay
(They all walk to their rooms and Clare walks to her suitcase and pulls out a bathing suit and walks to the bathroom to change)
Nick: babe do you want to go down to the pool?
Demi: why? Do you have something else in mind?
Nick: (smirks and pulls her to him) I have a few things in mind actually
Demi: oh really? And what's that?
Nick: well this (kisses her on the lips) and this (kisses her on the neck and starts sucking on it) and maybe this (puts his hand under her shirt)
Demi: (moans) nick, (breathing) Clare's in the bathroom she might hear us
Nick: she won't hear a thing (kisses her again)
Demi: you know what I think we can skip the pool, your brother and Dani can stay with her downstairs
Nick: good idea
(Clare walks out of the bathroom in her bikini and sees nick practically straddling Demi)
Clare: okay if you guys want to have sex just wait till I leave the room
Nick: haha well could you hurry up we were in the middle of something
Clare: (grabs her purse) I'll tell uncle Kevin you guys aren't coming
Demi: thanks sweetie
Clare: yeah yeah you two have fun but not too much fun I don't want a sibling yet I like being an only child (walks out of the room and knocks on Kevin and Dani's room)
Dani: the girls are almost ready come on in
Clare: thanks aunt Dani (walks inside)
Kevin: where are nick and Demi?
Clare: they aren't coming they want have sex instead
(Kevin chokes on his water and starts laughing)
Kevin: you could have just said they weren't coming but neither are joe and Sophia so it's just us
Clare: okay
Tina: ready to go?
Clare: yeah
Alena: so am I
Dani: alright let's go
(They walk out of the room and downstairs to the pool)
Alena: let's go sit in the jacuzzi
Tina: okay
Clare: sure
Dani: kev and I are going to go find some chairs
Alena: okay
(They walk over to the jacuzzi)
Clare: so what should we talk about?
Alena: I don't know boys
Tina: haha yeah tell us about this Ricky guy we saw on ENews
Clare: Ricky is someone that I like but I didn't want to start anything since I was going on tour what about you guys?
Alena: well there's this boy named Aaron who's in multiple classes of mine and I can't help but like him
Clare: does he like you?
Alena: I don't know he's giving mix signals
Clare: does he have a girlfriend?
Alena: no
Clare: good then you have a shot, what about you Tina?
Tina: I am not into anyone right now but I am sure I'll find someone eventually
Clare: that's true
Clare's pov
We spent the next couple hours in the pool until it started getting dark and we had to go up to the room where Kevin knocked on uncle joe's door and and he opened it.

Joe: did you guys enjoy the pool?
Kevin: yeah
Clare: did you have fun with aunt Sophia?
Joe: haha funny but yes
Alena: don't worry you weren't the only one uncle nick and Demi had fun too
Joe: haha good to know anyways what's up?
Kevin: I was thinking we could go out for dinner tonight and walk around time square you in?
Joe: sure give us an hour to get ready
Kevin: okay we need to shower anyways
Joe: alright we'll go to your room when we are done
Kevin: okay
Clare: I am going to knock before I walk in there
Tina: good idea
(Clare knocks on the door and nick opens it wrapped in a towel)
Clare: are you two done having fun or should I give you the room for another hour
Nick: haha funny, no we are done
Clare: good because uncle Kevin says we are going out for dinner tonight and walk around time square
Nick: okay sounds good
(Demi comes out with her hair wrapped in a towel and a robe)
Clare: okay well I am going to jump in the shower now before you two can hook up again (walks over to her suitcase and grabs some clothes and walks into the bathroom)
Demi: well that was fun wasn't it (wraps her arms around his waist)
Nick: yes it was Mrs. Jonas
Demi: (smiles) sometimes I wonder how I got so lucky to have you as my husband
Nick: I don't know how I got lucky to have you as my wife, I love you demi so much (kisses her)
Demi: I love you too, now let's get ready
Nick: okay
Clare's pov
After my shower I put on a rose colored bungee cami with black skinny jeans and decided to go with black ankle boots that had a heel on them. And since we are in New York I decided to curl my hair and put on a little bit of makeup and once I was done I walked out of the bathroom to see my dad and Demi look like the power couple they are and we walked over to uncle Kevin's room where everyone else was ready.

Joe: well it took you long enough
Nick: hey it takes time to look this good
Joe: yeah yeah anyways I am starving so let's go
Alena: since we are in NYC we need to have pizza right?
Kevin: sure
Clare's pov
I feel like all we do is eat and you already know how many family is so we ate the pizza and then headed to time square and obviously we had to play Empire State of mind by jay Z as we drove through the city because it's the anthem of New York that if you don't listen to it your crazy. Uncle joe would stop the car and park so that we could walk around and take pictures, the girls and I got ones where we looked great and then I took some with dad and Demi and just dad and I or Demi and I and we took some family pics and everything was going great until the fans started to notice who we were so we stayed with them and took some pictures with them until midnight and dad told them we had to get going because it was getting late so we hugged the fans and headed jack to the hotel where we said goodnight and walked into the room and fell asleep.
