Chapter 12: Missing Labor

Jax-
13 hours earlier-
I was busy during a meeting. We were about to get a shipment of newer drugs today. When all of a sudden something fell.
"Sorry." One Of our newer members said. Ryan.
"It's fine dude. Pick it up though." I said.
God I was in a good mood. So far nothing had gone wrong. The shipment was right on schedule.
"Alright, Sammy And Dawson, head out now, James and Tyler follow, then I'll head out with Ben and we'll be on track of time. Xavier. If something happens and I can't go, you need to get them. 10 million. Got it?" I said
"Yes boss." They responded
"Alright. Go." I said
Later
Everyone was out and me and Ben where loading up. All of a sudden a nurse runs to me.
"Elena."
We both rushed up to her room. I picked her up and set her head in my lap.
"Downstairs." The nurse instructed.
I picked her up and we walked down.
"What's going on?" I asked
" I'm not sure. But she's going into labor."
I was shocked.
"Buts she's not supposed to for another like 2 months!"
" I know. We need to get her the Hospital."
I picked her up and called for Jessica and Taylor. They rushed downstairs with bags and we were off.
We were speeding; going 85 in a 50 zone. All of a sudden flashing lights started.
"You have got to be ducking kidding me!" I yelled!
"Calm down." Jessica said
We pulled over and the officer walked up.
"Ma'am you do realize that you were goin over the speed limit by 35 miles?" He asked
All off a sudden; Elena woke up and squeezed my hand. Fuck! That hurt!
"Officer, I'm sorry but our friend is going into labor, almost 6 cm dialated!" Taylor said.
The officer looked into the back and saw me helping Elena.
"Can we go now!?" I said
"Alright. Make sure you be more careful. Congrats." He said
Elena screeched in pain as Jessica continued to drive.
We finally reached the hospital and I set her down in a wheelchair I saw by the door.
Taylor ran in and got several doctors as I set Elena into the chair.
"Alright, follow us, Sir." The doctor said.
1 hour later:
Elena was 6 cm dilated and she slowly fell back asleep. She would wake up from contractions but slowly fall back asleep.
Elena's mom showed up and rushed in.
"Oh my poor baby." She said.
She touched Elena's forehead and brushed her hair out of her face.
Elena's black hair was a mess, though, I thought she couldn't be more beautiful. God what the hell happened to me?
God, before Elena I didn't give two shits about the girls I slept with. Now here I am, still single as fuck and two kids on the way.
Elena's P.O.V.-
I woke up into a bright light.
"Elena come on. It's time to push." The doctor had said.
"W-w-What?" I asked
Extrusive pain shot through me in my lower abdomen.
Mama grabbed my hand and pet her thumb against it.
"Mama I c-can't." I said shaking
"Shh. Baby, I know it's painful but you have to push." She responded.
I started to push. I screamed at the pain.
"Shh your doing great honey." Mama encouraged me.
I pushed again once more.
I was crying I could barely see. I looked away from mama and looked to the other side of me.
Jax wasn't there.
Instead I saw Taylor.
I started to cry as I felt more pain shoot through me.
I screamed. I squeezed mamas hand and she gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"Come on, baby you can do this." Mama said
I turned to look at Taylor who gave me a smile.
I pushed one more time longer than before and stopped.
"Ms.Elena, one more push." He said
I gave one last big push and all the pain was gone.
We heard a cry. I smiled as the doctor showed my my beautiful baby boy. Held him for 5 minutes. He has my eyes, but Jax's dark brown hair.
I felt pain go through me like before. The nurse took him away from me
"No!" I yelled
"Shh she's just gonna get him cleaned up, almost finished love. One more beautiful baby boy left." Mama said
I started to push and gave out.
"Deep breathes." Taylor kept reminding me.
I pushed hard for several seconds then payed my head back.
The pain was unbearable now.
" Mama I can't. I can't." I said, trembling.
"Shh. You can baby. But we need to push a couple more times ok? So close. 20 seconds of pain for a lifetime of happiness." Mama said
I smiled then pushed.
I pushed until all the pain was gone and I heard my little cry out for me.
The nurse handed me my baby and I held onto him until they took him away.
Mama was so happy. Taylor was crying. And Jax?

He was nowhere to be found.

Finally it came down to naming which one which. I looked down at my baby boy with brown hair; Hunter Blake. And my one with my black hair; Noah Aaron. My sweet baby boys.
Hunter was looking up at me while Noah slept Silently. I kissed both of their heads and smiled.
Where was Jax?
