We were gathered at Valerie and Carter's place where a million stylists, hair and makeup artists were rushing around fixing everybody up. It was chaos. I had my camera out, doing some vlogging and filming some behind the scenes, alongside my cameraman Ryan. Any time all our friends were together, the fans went crazy. They also loved to see all the behind-the-scenes stuff of our crazy lives.
Poor Val had all the girls turn to her for clothes immediately after plans for us to attend the VMA's were formed. Being the super sweet and good-hearted person she was, accepted graciously. And so, the girls all decided to come to hers to make everything easier. And of course, the boys also decided to crash over.
In the high stools by the kitchen, they sat and were done over with mountains of makeup and things spread on the tables and benches. The boys sat in the lounge to relax a bit before having to get our hair done. The artists did however insist on putting a little makeup on us. A bit of light concealer, and plucking of the brows. That shit hurt. I've been to a few red carpet events before and had this done, so I wasn't unfamiliar with the process.
Olivia- Valerie's assistant I believe, was darting around, ensuring all the girl's outfits were organised and set up with all the bells and whistles. Music was blasting in the background, and almost all of us were having a few drinks.
I glanced towards Sommer who was sitting in the makeup chair being done over. Her hair was up in curlers and she was laughing as she spoke to Aria and Jess.
So damn gorgeous.
Alec sat next to me on the lounge, before he interrupted my observations of the other end of the space.
"Who's that?" He nodded towards the blonde-haired girl, steaming down clothes.
I cocked my head over. "Oh, that's Olivia I'm pretty sure. She works with Valerie."
Alec nodded appreciatively. "An assistant? I've never seen her before."
"I think..." I nodded. I only know of her through Sommer, telling me about how sometimes Valerie and Olivia hook them up with clothes.
"She's hot." He remarked.
I chuckled, "Yeah man. But not my type."
"She's blonde though?" He quirked a curious brow. "Or does she need to be platinum blonde with some pink?" He teased.
I elbowed him and rolled my eyes. "Whatever."
He laughed. "How old is she?"
"Dude I don't know," I shook my head, chortling. "I've only said hello to her. Why don't you just go over?"
"Cause I'm on a dating ban."
I frowned. "That you put on yourself?"
"Yeah." He shrugged, running a hand through his thick black hair. "Causes too much trouble than it's worth."
"Olivia!" Valerie called. The girl turned her head and smiled, and I swear Alec straightened up in his seat, eyes glued to her figure strolling towards the kitchen.
I rolled my eyes. "Just say hello. Be friends. Whatever."
He laughed. "Well she might come up to me?"
I shook my head with a sly smile. "Nope, she seems too professional for that. She might not even care you are the Alec Santos." I started to mock him, bringing a closed fist up to my lips to mimic a mic, "ooohhh, ahhh," I opened my mouth to sing dramatically.
