He sees the way they look at him,
he knows that look,
The look of fear, disgust and what was that...
Oh hatred, they saw him as a monster who beats up people in hallways,
they saw they monster who wear his scars on his sleeve,
they saw the monster with bruises everyday,
but beneath that can they see a little boy writhing in pain?,
without any prejudice can they see a boy struggling to breathe?
Can they see he trying to keep his head above the water so he won't drown?
All he see is people looking and walking away with the whispers of nightmares in the air,
Now who is the real monster?
