The moment I reached her spot she bowed to me. I noticed the little lady's hands quiver.

"I'm sorry your highness, I don't know what's happening or if I caused trouble please forgive me,"

Her voice sounded so sweet and humility can be noted from the way she had spoken.

Not looking at me, I held her shoulders and with that, she raised her head, completely showing me her face...

I was lost for words.

My son was right... 

She is my daughter.

I smiled while tears continued to drip from my eyes.

She quickly took something from her dress' pocket which I realized was a handkerchief.

"Your highness, m-may I?... I'm sorry if I said something wrong..."

I bent lower and allowed her to wipe my tears.

My innocent daughter.

"Charlie,"

I finally uttered as she finished.

"Have you ever thought about your parents?..."

My question quickly made an uncomfortable look in her face.

"Have you ever thought about your mummy and daddy?..."

She sullenly smiled;

"I...I don't even know who my real parents are your highness...they might have forgotten about me..."

She whispered.

I couldn't contain myself as I pulled her in my embrace.

"My child...not even a day passed by that we haven't thought about you. You were always on my mind."

She gently pushed me, a terrified and more confused look played across her face.

"I d-don't understand... even her majesty kept on telling me a while ago that I'm someone important to your family...

"My child, we never deserted you, I swear. We searched for you and didn't stop. Please forgive mummy and daddy for taking so long and committing mistakes..."

"M-mummy?...d-daddy? "

"Charlie, our dearest Ischgl who was taken away from us years ago...is no one but you."

Hysterically, she began shaking her head and crying.

"That's im-impossible..."

I held her for comfort but she refused to be held.
