Forever Loved - A Sonamy One Shot

It has been a few months since that day I figured out that I loved Amy and confessed my love to her. I got on my knees and begged her to be my girlfriend. She said she was waiting for that moment for a long time. I was never the same after that day.

-Present day-

"Amy, where are you?" I called out. Amy and I had moved in together in a nice two story house. Amy is pregnant with our first child, the ultrasounds show that it's going to be a girl. I walked around to find Amy In the kitchen making a peanut butter sandwich. "Why didn't you answer me?" I asked her. She looked back at me and smiled. "I couldn't hear you." she turned back and picked up the sandwich. "Im so hungry." she took a huge bite of the sandwich and walked into the lounge room where she sat on a chair. "Come here and sit next to me." she said, in between mouthfuls of sandwich. I sat next to her on the chair and she grabbed my hand, placing it on her stomach. "Wait for it." she said. I waited and finaly felt a small kick. She smiled. "that's your daughter." I smiled. I was going to be a father.

The next day was so different. Amy was freaking out and yelling at me in the morning, telling me she was going to give birth early and I had to rush her off to the hospital as quick as I could. I sat in the waiting room of the hospital for what seemed like an hour before I was called into Amy's room. When I got in I saw her sitting in a bed with a baby wrapped up in her arms. I walked over to her and hugged her whilst looking at our child. I was a father. I pulled down the baby's blanket and looked at it. It was the cutest hedgehog I had ever seen. It was a baby blue hedgehog with pink on its cheeks and the tips of its ears. "What should we name her?" Amy asked. I thought for a minute "Not blue." I said. "How about Azul? It's blue in Spanish." Amy smiled. "It's perfect."

-3 Years Later-

I ran around the park, with Azul on my shoulders. "Wheeee. Faster Daddy, faster!" she squealed. I ran a bit faster. Amy was sitting on the picnic rug setting out the picnic. We had found out last night that Tails is going to be a father too, though I don't think Cream was too exited about it. I placed Azul down onto the rug and sat down beside her. We each ate for a while and Azul went on the playground at the park. I was still happy about being a father, every time I looked at Azul I am happy. I just hope that my happiness for Azul will last as long as my love for Amy.
