"You know how long we haven't hung out?" Star asked. He dramatically throws himself onto my bed.  Star and I became best friends at the beginning of ninth grade when both our parents forgot to pick us up (We basically closed the school gates that day) and we bonded and have been close ever since. Somehow, we ended up walking home together and found out that we were neighbours, weird right? It may seem weird but we both didn't go outside to do that so-called thing called 'socialising' and we were both in different friend groups.

"We went out last week," I replied while re-organizing my closet. I had planned to organize it in a ROYGBIV pattern and the plus is, cleaning weirdly puts me into a calm mood. "We didn't even take any pictures!"

"See!" He exclaimed, drawing out the vowel.

"Okay fine, but I don't have any clothes that I haven't taken a picture in yet." I knew for a fact that he didn't have any new clothes because we normally shop together unless his Mum had done her random monthly shopping and I normally get new clothes from that too.

"Okay, I have an idea." He said and I already knew I would like it. How? Well, she said it with her 'I have a good idea' tone and it normally has a great result. "Picture it with me," I laid beside him on my fluffy, white sheet spread.

"Alright, so we're going to wake up really  early like  6 AM early then we're going to take pictures in the sun and get that golden glow. When the sun rises and all, we're going to head to Starbucks for some breakfast and we'll do that cheesy thing where we take pictures of our food and we'll do our traditional food swap to see whose food tastes better." Normally, it's mine. "And we'll talk about all the cute boys that you can spot without your glasses on then we'll confess secrets that we probably already know about each other and we'll probably still laugh at the silly ones,"

There's only one problem with that.

"Star, we both know one of us is going to wake up at 10 PM and it's not me." I reminded him playfully which he ignored with a playful eye roll.

"Shush I'm trying to make our best friend hangout like a date with your crush Wi-" I quickly slapped a hand over his mouth. If only he knows that person doesn't exist.  "You can continue,"

He licks my hand. I cringe in disgust and wipe my hand on her shirt.

"Okay well, after all that, we're going to take some pictures on the beach... Go for a swim or two. That takes like a long time so we're going to get some food, some good ol' taco bell." I smiled adoringly. It really did sound like a date.

When I zoned back in, I heard, "Then I'll just confess my love for you."
