Hadrian's POV

Father had called me to his rooms. I was nervous because this usually means something bad happened.

I haven't felt pain in my scar so it must not be that bad. But then again, if it's not bad, why call me to his room?

I finally came to a stop in front of his door and knocked. A soft "Come in" was heard.

I opened the door to see my father on his bed, dragging his hands through his hair.

"You needed something father?" I asked quietly. I must have startled him because he jumped half a foot off the bed.

I chuckled and he glared at me. "Come here, child." His voice was soft, something I haven't heard since I was a baby. I went over and sat next to him.

He pulled me into a hug, surprising me slightly. I returned it a little stiffly and smiled when he pulled away from me.

"What's going on father?" He sighed and looked everywhere but my eyes.

"You're not my son. I-I stole you from Lily and James Potter. I know what Dumbledore is capable of and that they would treat your twin better than you. There's a prophecy that says : THE TWINS BORN AS THE SEVENTH MONTH DIES WILL BE VERY DIFFERENT. ONE WILL SAVE THE WORLD WHILE THE OTHER WILL BE IT'S FALL. CHOSE WISELY AS LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING."

He took a deep breath and continued. " Dumbledore thought because you were born with black hair and tan skin, with emerald eyes you were the bad one. Your twin was born with pale skin and bright red hair. His eyes are a muddy brown. He looks like a Weasley not a Potter. You're the one who will save the world." I could see tears in his eyes, but he wasn't finished.

" I love you Hades. I will love you even if you want to be with your parents. I understand if you're angry with me." At the last part his voice broke and the tears spilled over.

" I will never leave you. It sounds like you saved me from a horrible childhood. You took me and gave me a loving home, a person to look up to, a family. I love you always dad." I pulled him into a hug and he buried his face in my hair.

I rubbed soothing circles on his back, trying to calm him down. After a while, he pulled back and smiled.

" I love you too. Forever and always my little snake."
