A Burning Blue Ribbon

Who am I? Is a question I face most days but I'm not the only one. All we know is that we were born and made to live here in the 'houses'. The 'houses' is a city of normal looking houses on the outside but on the inside they are full of children, no parents, just children. If you are curcious to why there are only children in these houses, its because we live in a Blue Ribbon area.

  The blue ribbons, where should start? I know. There evil, not the kind of 'stealing candy from a baby' evil but ' a kind of  stepping on lego while stumping you toe and falling down the stairs' evil. If you wondering why there so evil well 1.you ask too many questions and 2. They took us away for are parents, we dont even know are parents. So yeah, to sum it up 'blue ribbon+evil=terrible lifes'.

  Ok enough moarning. Hi my name is....... well i dont know my name, well real name. None of us do so we call each other nick names. Like puffs, puffs is a 7 year old girl with blonde hair we call her puffs because she 'chubby' lets say. And there is read, he is 14, you could guess why he is called read, he loves books. So then that leave me, they called me Fire, fire for my red hair. I'm Fiveteen and have 14 days left till I'm sixteen. And I'm scared.

  But why am i scare, it's becuase on the night of your sixteen birthday, some people from the blue ribbon take you away. Away from everything. As you may be think "but that a good thing right?" Wrong. No-one know where you go or what happen to you. Puffs think you be taken to you family again (bless her heart) but read thinks you will be killed as there a problem with over population. I don't know what to believe but all i Know is that i will be taken away from the only people i have as family. And I also know I'm not going without a fight.
