My Mute Love

DEKU'S POV

Hi I'm Izuku and I'm mute at least that what people think I'm the new kid at a school tomorrow my second day at school or should I say first. I wasn't able to attend school yesterday because I had gotten badly sick from staying up all night on the roof and with my earbuds I listened to music, forgetting the time. There is supposed to be a trip the day after tomorrow and I already have all my paper work for the trip done and turned in. I don't really know how people are going to act to me when they find out I can't talk, but all I can do is hope that they will be friendly.

"Honey time to get up! It's your first day at school!" My mother says in a very cherry mood. I get up then I change in to my school uniform, brush my hair, then finally I get down to see my mom making my breakfast. "Love you mom, thank you for making breakfast." I say happily. "Love you too. Don't forget to not speak, you'll most likely be recognized. Here's your food. Now get going you don't want to be late for your first day." My mom says, giving my food, then I take off.

I make way to the front office, so I can get a little help from someone. 'Knock knock' I tap on the front counter. "Hello, how may I help you?" The counter lady asked. I take out a card that says 'I new and mute so I kinda can't talk.' She reads the card and replies with "I'll get someone to help you. Do you know sign language and do you have your schedule? I give a 'yes' in sign language. "Okay, I will send someone from your first pierod class to come and tour you around. Can I have your schedule, please." The lady says. I give her my schedule and say 'thank you' in sign language. I wait about eight minutes till someone finally shows up to take me where I need to go. The person is a girl with brown hair. "Hi my name is Ochako Uraraka and you are?" She says waiting for a verbal response. I take out a card saying my name and age. "Are you mute?" She asks me and I just shake my head 'yes'. "Okay well, I know sign language. We should get started on the tour. I shake my head 'yes'. She shows me all I need to know and where and how to use my locker. "Were going to our first period class, okay." Ahe asks friendly. I grab the stuff I'm going to need for the class and tell her 'I'm ready' using sign language.

I walk in to the classroom with Ochako. "We're here!" She announces happily. I wave my hand hello shyly to my new classmates. "Hello would you like to introduce yourself to the class?" Asked a very dead and tired sounding voice. Ockako helps me with telling the I can't quite speak and that she could do it for me. The teacher agrees and announces we have a new student. "His name is Deku and he's mute, but can use sign language." Ochako introduces me to the class. "Thank you, Ockako. Deku you can sit behide Katsuki Bakugou. He's the spiky, blonde in the first row, listening to music." He points to the boy. I bow, to say 'thank you', and take my seat. "As you all know, we will be taking a field trip to the forest to go camping in a few days. Everyone has turned in their field trip paperwork, even Deku. So I have the chart of your going to be partnered with on the wall over there." The teacher says pointing to the wall. I tap on the guy's back who is sitting in front of me. "What do you want?" He asks taking one of his earbuds out. I point to the chart of the partner for the trip. "What's a Deku? Who are you?" Katsuki questioned me. I just look down, not wanting to try to communicate with him. I know what type of person he is, and staying away is the best thing to do. "Are you you ignoring me!" He says loudly, just not enough to be a yell or shout. As he starts to raise his fist, Ochako comes to help. "He's kinda can't talk, so he's not ignoring you." She says with a bit of anger in her voice. "Tch" was all he said has he turned around in his seat not in the mood to hit or yell at me. I give her a sign language 'thank you' as I take out my phone. "Want to trade numbers!" She says in a cheery tone. I give her my phone has a response. "Thanks! Here's mine!" She says as she hands me her phone. I type me number in her phone and save it. We trade the phones back to the original owner.

"Want to meet some new people! I can introduce you to them!" She says totally wanting to me to yes. I nod yes.

After school is over, I make my way home, I see Katsuki(the rude guy) is going the same way as me, so I spend up after a few minutes of walking, I see him turn to his house, witch is not far from mine. My house is the one next to his neighbor's house. Easier way of explaining it is Katsuki, person, me. "Hey mom, I'm home!" I yell to her. "Hey honey, you didn't speak, right? How was your day?" She asked curiously. "Great and no, I didn't speak. I should start packing for the field trip. I made lots of nice friends." I say heading up stairs to start packing. 'I should try to finish my new song and make one talking about my first day of school.' I think to myself. When I finish packing I go down to see if dinner was started, and surely I see my mom getting the ingredients for dinner out. "Your making dessert, since I'm making dinner." My mom says, looking for the ingredients in the fridge. "I know, I know." I say running up the stairs to my bedroom. I check to the time outside. "Still pretty early." I tell myself as frown appears on my face. I go down stairs to start to make dessert. " what do you think we should do for dessert." I ask my mom. "Pie? She asks me. "Good choice, as always!" I reply with a bright smile on my face as I start to get my apron on. I start to make my dough, when there's and knock on the door. "I'll check it." I say quietly so the person at the door can't hear me. I open the door to see Katsuki. "What were you making?" He asks me while I have my apron on, with a bunch of flour on it. I open the door and lead him in the house so my mom can talk to him. He has a basket with fruit and a card in it. He hands me the basket and closes the door, then follows me. "Hello, my name is Yuri Midoriya, and yours?" She asks with a big smile. "You have the same last name as the missing famous singer and his mom." Katsuki says, as if he was trying to question her. "Unlucky, right." She says with a smile on her face. "Would you like to say for dinner, since it's just the two of us?" She asks as we all go to the kitchen. "I'll text mom." He says looking at me as I put the dough on to the pie crust pan. "What's are you making over there?" He asks knowing I'm making pie. "He's making pie. It's really good, you have to try it!" She replied for me. Katsuki looks at his phone. "My mom said it would be alright for me to stay for dinner." He says looking up from his phone. "Great. Dinner should be done in five to ten minutes." She looks at her spaghetti. I open the oven door and put the pies in. Eight minutes later me and Katsuki get up from the couch to get dinner. We go to the dining room. I write 'How was your day?' To both of them. "Great!" She says happily blowing on her spaghetti. "Good." Katsuki says. We asks normal questions like what's your favorite songs, sport, food, sweets, and like that. After were done we ate some of the pie, witch everyone thought was good.

I look to the window and see it's dark out, so I grad my dishes and put them in the sink, then race up stairs to my bedroom, once I'm there I get my phone and earbuds, then go out the window. Soon after I just put both of my earbuds in and turn of the music, I feel a tap on my shoulder, I look to see Katsuki. "Ni....fy..s..t" was all could hear, so I take out one of my earbuds and give him a 'what were you saying' look. "I said, nice spot." Katsuki tells me. All I do is give him a thumbs up and plug my earbuds back in and lay down looking at the sky. As I start to relax one of my earbuds go missing. "You actually listen to good music." Katsuki says looking surprised. 'What do you really expect from me, to listen to horrible music.' I respond angrily in my head. I take my earbud out of his ear and go to a messaging app to type, 'Can you leave now, I want to be alone.' "Okay, okay, I get it I'm getting in your personal space." He says backing away. "But first I will see your song writing books." He says with a smirk on his face. I go back to the messaging app and type 'Tomorrow' as a give him a grin and wave my hand. "Fine, tomorrow." He says and I follow him to the window till he's out of my room to make sure he doesn't touch my books.

After he left, I took a shower and went to bed, holding my two song books, tightly and securely.
