Chapter 1

Joy's POV:

I was with the royal dresser getting a fitting for new dresses when my mother walked in.She greeted all of the severants like she always does.Not much kings and queens are very nice to their servant but my parents they were nice to everyone. Everyone loved them. When I am queen I will be just like my parents sweet and kind to all the people in the kingdom. Anyway my mom had asked the servants if they could live me and her alone for second so we could talk for moument.

"Darling we are going a trip to another kingdom" mother had said. " Really is the Williams Kingdom again I do love those daughters of theirs they almost seem like family " I smile at my mother hoping she would say yes. My mother put her hand on my knee and looked up at me " No this it's the Brooks Kingdom you remember the Brooks princes right? You use to love playing with them when you were a young child " She said. " I think so but not very much why?" I ask curiously. " Well your to marry the oldest of them all it well be better if we join kingdoms We have more gold to feed their people they need all the help they can get" she had a smile and looking down as if she didn't want to see my reaction. I took my mother's hand then she looks up at me " You and father both know I will do anything for this Kingdom even though I am against arranged marriage I will do it for the kingdom", My mother smiles at me and I return "Thank you sweetheart for understanding and for being so loyal to your kingdom.

My mother let go of my hand smiled at me one last two me then left my room. I lay down on my bed and sign

Oh I almost forgot my name is Joyme Marie Darrington and I am about to marry some who I don't even know
