He was gonna wait. Was gonna wait until it was their anniversary. Or until she had fully healed. But he didn't know why or how he ended up proposing so quickly. Not having thought about doing the deed at all until meeting her gaze that was so gentle when catching his own.

And within seconds he had realized that he wanted her forever. That he didn't need to wait. Or do something extravagant because Ming wouldn't have wanted it anyway. She wouldn't have wanted it to be a big deal. Or be anything more than the basic way Yoongi had done it because she wanted it to be just them. Wanted to feel the intimacy in the way everything went down. And to feel the emotions that had never been stronger than they were the minute he pulled out the little, velvet box that laid between the slimness of his digits. The same box that had his heart racing. And the same box that the girl never thought she would ever get to see in life. Because she didn't know what would happen with her and Yoongi. Didn't know that she was going to fall in love. Or kill her brother just to be with him. Something she regretted more than ever because she knew it wasn't right. That Yoongi wouldn't have made her do it if he loved her. But she was so naive. And so desperate to be with the only man who had ever made her feel something.

"Kitten. . ." She could remember the first time he called her that. Having hated it more than anything else in the world while her chocolate eyes met with his own. Just like they did the first time they met. Even if there was no more aggression held within them. Or any kind of resentment as her fingers traced the skin of his chest.

"Good morning." Her voice was nothing more than a silent whisper. And he watched as she blinked away the sleep from her eyes. All while she smiled at the man who pressed her even further into his side. Letting her feel the heaviness of his hands that took hold of her waist as she moved up to catch his lips. His lips that had her dazed the first time she had ever kissed the man. Having remembered the moment like it was the back of her hand.

And he could feel the way she ran her fingers up his neck and to his undercut. Tugging on the hair ever so gently only to receive a throaty grunt of approval from the man who's hands only became greedier. Because that's how he's always been. And how he'd always be. It being something Ming noticed almost instantly about the man. . . his dominance. And his impatience when it came to something that he wanted. Or something that he wanted everyone to see was his as she let out a muffled giggle of his name. Allowing for herself to become dazed by the man. Because she always did.

And with a smirk, Yoongi pulled away. Noticing the immediate playfulness in her gaze as she glared at the man who could tell she wanted more. And who couldn't stop staring at the ring placed on her finger as he voiced out a sultry you like it. Even if he already knew the answer to the question. Because next was the pout. The pout that she let adorn her lips as she slid her hand back down to his cheek. Whispering out the most gentle I love it, baby only to have Yoongi pull her over his thighs. Even if his actions were more cautious than they had ever been before. Because he didn't want to hurt her. He never did.

"Yoongi. . ." She could feel the size of him through his boxers. Immediately making her place a hand to his chest while feeling his hands rest themselves against the skin of her thighs. All while she ran her hand along his abdomen. Trying her hardest not to smile. Or do so much as laugh at the man who had never thought he'd find someone better than Yoojia. Yoojia being the girl who killed herself. And Yoojia being the girl who had Yoongi so confused when it came to love. Because he never knew how it worked. Nor how a relationship was supposed to be, all because she never taught him correctly. Never taught him to be himself. Or to be caring towards her because she didn't want that. She didn't want him to love her. To put her first. To do anything that she didn't want him to do. Because she wanted to make Yoongi into something that he wasn't. Wanted to make him ruthless. And aggressive when it came to every aspect in life.

But Ming wasn't like that. Wasn't anything like the girl who he thought he loved more than anything in the world. And who he thought felt the same about him. But she never did. And she never would.

"Oh come on, kitten. . . why not another round—"

"Yoongi!" He watched the way she laughed. And the way her hand found itself coming across his chest all while she shook her head at the man who was also nothing like her first love. Because even behind the facade of being tough, Yoongi still cared. Having cared about the woman the minute he laid eyes on her. All because she was his. And knew that she forever would be.

"Don't act like you weren't begging for me last night. . . huh." Ming could hear the smugness in his tone. Making her scoff almost instantly while he chuckled. Letting her feel his hands that moved further down her thighs as she slid her finger up to the ring placed on it.

"Oh really?" He loved the way she'd tease him. And the way she'd challenge the man who watched her slide the ring up her finger in a slow manner. All until he took hold of her wrist. Immediately stopping the woman with a gruffly call of her nickname.

And it all felt like deja vu. Because it was always the same. The same mannerisms that he'd portray to only her. And the same actions that the two would always do to each other.

"You know, Yoongi. . ." He knew what she was going to say. Knew she was going to talk about their past. Or talk about the way he used to be with her. And he listened just like she wanted him to. Because he always did.

"You used to be such an asshole." She couldn't help but laugh. Having remembered just how arrogant he was with her. And just how demanding he'd be when making her do something.

"God I used to fucking hate you." She did. She hated the way he treated others. Hated the way he treated her. But most of all, hated the way she couldn't keep herself from falling for him. Because something about the man was just so fucking addicting. And she had never met someone that held such power. Or such intimidation that had others scared shitless of the man himself.

But Yoongi didn't say a word. Didn't do anything but let the woman catch his lips as she leaned down to take hold of his chin. Feeling the way his grasp on her thighs tightened. And the way he pushed her even harder onto his lap that had shivers running down her spine.

And Yoongi would never forgive himself with the way he used to treat her. Would never forgive himself with the way he used to talk to her. Or the way he'd make her feel like utter shit. Because she was the only one who had ever tried with him. Was the only one who didn't tell him he was worthless. Or that he was just as sick and selfish as his father.

And he watched as she pulled away. Just enough to meet his eyes. And just enough to whisper out a single set of words that had his heart racing. Because no matter what was going on, she always supported him. Always made sure he knew that he was loved. And that he was worth something more than what he thought he was.

"But you've shown me so much, baby. . . and I'll love you forever because of that." She would. She'd love him until the clock stops ticking. Or until her breath reaches its final end.

And Yoongi knew it. He knew it the first time he took her to the casino with him. Having remembered the way she placed a hand up to his cheek after her brother had started to get underneath his skin. And the way ones gaze had never looked so genuinely concerned for him before as she voiced out the most gentle it's okay. All while the softness of her lips rested themselves against the shell of his ear. Something that had him utterly confused. Because he wasn't used to being cared for. Or concerned about. Two things that were completely taboo to him. And two things that Ming had finally shown him.

And all he could do was watch. Watch the way she smiled. And watch the way she brushed their noses together. Earning the quietest thank you from the man who would do fucking anything for her. Who would kill. And sacrifice. And die for if it meant she'd get to see another day. Because it was all so much more than love. But the sacrifice one would make. . . just to see the other be happy.

The End.
