Falling for You ~ Dwake

Dwight's POV

Great... just great! I've got the fucking Huntress chasing me and even worse, Jake is in the trial! I think he is tampering with the hooks while Claudette and Meg are getting the generators working. How I got myself in their sticky situation was, I got distracted and missed a skill check while doing the 3rd generator and the killer must have heard because she is now after me. It could be worse though, she could be chasing Jake.

Oh Jake. Poor, sweet Jake who doesn't deserve to be trapped in this cruel hell. That's right, I have a massive crush on Jake. But he could never like me back because I'm just Dwight.

I feel my foot catch on something, and I fall to the ground. I already know that I'm going to get hooked, seeing as the Huntress is right behind me. Well, I try to get up but all I get is a sharp pain in my back. And as the Huntress is picking me up, I see Jakes horrified face in the shadows. I try to mouth to him to leave seeing as the 4th generator had just been activated, but Jake being Jake stays put. I still don't understand why, even though we are good friends. I get carried away and I can see him slowly following us.

I've been on the killers back for a good 5-10 minutes, while struggling I might add, when I feel a sharp pain in my shoulder. I immediately know that I've been hooked. The 5th generator activated and the gates open. The Huntress leaves, probably to try and find Claudette and Meg before they escape. That's when Jake emerges from the shadows "Dwi! It's okay! But we have to go! The exit has just been opened!" States Jake in a hushed whisper while pulling me off of that wretched hook. I manage to get out a simple 'okay' before he slung my arm over his shoulder and we started to jog to the exit.

I hear it again.... the humming that I dread. "She's getting closer" I whisper yell to Jake
"Go on! I'll catch up!" He says. I'm about to protest when I hear a sharp whizzing, I duck seeing as I don't want my head to be decapitated. Jake shoves me to the near exit, but as I'm about to leave this god forsaken trial, I hear Jakes screams. He has been caught. I can hear him yelling for me to go, and frankly I know that it's no use because I'm injured. Even if I tried to save him, we'd both be hooked and then when we got back to camp, he would be pissed at me for not leaving when I had the chance.

I step out of the (arena?) and I feel a rushing sensation as I'm brought back to the camp. I look around, and everyone knows the trial has ended. David is looking at me like I'm a murderer. He knows, everyone knows that my poor, sweet Jake has been sacrificed to the Entity. for the next hour I get yelled at by David and am given dirty looks by Feng. That's when Jake appears
"Guys! Leave him alone! I told him to run!" He screeches and frankly I'm in shock. Usually Jake is a lone wolf, usually alone, but he just stood up for me. "Come with me" he says.

Jake leads me into the forest and away from the camp, "hey, where are we going?" I ask
"Just away from them" he replies, and sits down. I decide that maybe I should tell him how I feel, "hey Jak-" but I get cut off by his lips smashing into mine. I'm a little surprised at first but almost straight away I melt into the kiss. "I love you" I whisper
"I love you too Dwi" he replies

We are heading back to camp when I trip again
Jake laughs while catching me "guess you could say your falling for me"
"I guess I am" I reply before sharing one more sweet kiss. We head back to announce the news that we are dating to the group.

Haha that's really funny, guess I am literally falling for him.
