chapter 13.

'Lexie, we might wanna get up now... Luke said we'd meet up around three to arrange with the barbeque and stuff..'

'Ten more minutes OK? then we'll get up' I said. We had a sleep in, and after that we had just been lying in the bed, cuddling and watching titanic, I think Jai cried more than I did. The clock was almost 2 am. 

'you've already said that... three times' he he chuckled, stroking my cheek. 

'Alright, I'll take a shower, you stay here, don't touch anything, leave my map of pictures on the computer alone, don't open any drawers and... yeah, that's about it'

'I'll try not to' said Jai with a smug face.

'Seriously.' I said giving him an serious glance. He just lay there on the bed in his boxers, smiling. His sixpack was nothing to be kidding about. He had caught me staring at it several times, everytime he flexed it more showing off his biceps as well. So I tried to stare more discretly at it so his head wouldn't blow up too big again.

'Go shower and stop staring' he said with a superior grin.

'I am NOT staring. You're so full of yourself' blushing slightly.

'And you like it'

'Dick' I said, smiling, as I went off to finally take my shower.

 ...

It was me, Lea, Andrea, Alice, Jai, Luke, Beau, Daniel, Beau and James, who I haven't really met officially yet. Maax, Andrew, Tyla and the other boys were at a soccer game.

It was kind of funny getting introduced to James, he knew me from school, and of course I knew everything about him.

'Hi, James' he said streching out his hand.

'Hi James'  I said rather awkwardly. 'I'm Alex, and I know all about you' He just laughed and smiled his adorable smile.

'I know a lot about you as well' He smiled.  'Is the rumour true about the toilet, you and Mike..?' I gave him a 'shut-the-fuck-up' glance as I saw Jai was approaching.

'It's false, and hi babe'  

'What's false?' Jai said confused.

'You are. How's the burgers going?' I said, changing subject.

The clock was almost 9pm. He had eaten our burgers, and were still sitting in the party tent outside the Brooks brother's house. I was unbelievably happy to call all these people my friends; we had so much fun together and each one of them were amazing. I had never in my life thought good-boy James could be so loosend up. What if knew three weeks ago how my life would turn out, I wouldn't believe it myself. I looked around, everyone was chatting carefree, Beau was doing some imitations to Alice, Lea and Daniel, and I saw James trying to speak to Andrea, but she couldn't keep her eyes off Luke, who was talking to Jai and me. I hadn't gotten the chance to speak the girls about me and Jai's disastrous sex attempt yet..

'What do you say we play some truth or dare?' Alice suggested.

'DARE OR DARE' screamed Beau, and the other boys screamed in agreement.

'OK dare or dare then' I said. I took an empty coke bottle and put it on the table. 'I start'

I spun the bottle and it pointed on Luke. Luke looked as if willing to take on any challenge, and the others were telling me different suggestions of what I should make him do, but I had already made up my mind. I met Andrea's eyes before I looked back to Luke.

'I dare you... to kiss Andrea, on the mouth, in at least 10 seconds.' Every one cheered and clapped, and Beau patted Luke on the back. Andrea's face had turned red as a tomato, Lea was laughing hysterically at this, which only made it worse.

'SHHH' I said, I was smiling widely. 'Now, go on Luke'

'You call this a dare? I'd do it anyways' said Luke, rather jokingly, making his way to Andrea, who threw me an panicked look. I mouthed 'you owe me one' smiling teasingly and she just shook her head at me.

Luke leaned over and kissed her, and the boys were wolf whistling. five seconds, ten seconds... they were still going and Beau yelled:

'THAT'S THE SPIRIT BRO' we all laughed, and Luke gave him his finger, still kissing Andrea.

Lea nudged me. 'So you knew she was in to him?'

'Leelee,  please, it's written all over her face, I can read that girl like an open book' I shook my head looking at her just as they finally broke apart. Luke remained on Andrea's side instead of moving back to his seat. We kept playing, and I witnessed Skip and Beau practically making out, Lea drinking a homemade protein shake, Alice doing the cinnamon challenge, Jai vs James in a wrestling fight (the out come was quite obvious) when the bottle finally pointed at me. Beau, who had spun the bottle immidiately said 'I dare you to make out with Beau Brooks' Jai, who was holding my hand, clenched it harder and hit Beau on his shoulder.

'Ow, OK chillax, I was just joking...' he said, winking his eye at me. I raised my eyebrows, smiling back to  him. 'OK, then I dare you Alex, to prank call Jessica and tell her she's a bitch'

I sighed.

'Why, I don't want to talk to her'

'Why though? I'd be angry with her if I were you'

'What do you mean?'

'Well, after posting all those pictures and-'

'wait WHAT, IT WAS HER? I yelled furiously

Oh, I thought you knew...' Beau looked troubled. Jai gave him an angry glance, I could feel the mood dropping quickly, everyone was eyeing me warily.

'No, I did not, but you did, Jai? Right? He couldn't meet my eyes and I knew the answer was 'yes'. I looked around, they all looked guilty. 'Wow, so you all knew it was Jessica and the others and you didn't tell me? Cool.' I said, and I could feel anger building up inside me, I let go of Jai's hand. 

'I did expect a liiiittle more from you guys, at least some honesty. Especially from you two.' I said, looking at Jai and Alice, they both the decency to look sad and ashamed. 

'Goodbye' I left the table and the tent. the last thing I heard was Alice.

'See? This is exactly why I told you we should've told her' I could hear tears in her voice.
