Hiding Away

Chapter 1

Kim's POV

Hi I'm Kim Crawford a sophomore at Seaford High and a secret second degree black belt. Why is it a secret? Because I am the loner and nerd at school not even the nerdiest kids in school think I'm cool. I hide it away because I don't want friends because if what I can do but because of who I am. I am level 16 in gymnastics a second degree black belt (as you already know) and have a firm 8 pack. Yeah that's right I said 8 pack! And you're probably wondering how. Well it's because my mum hired a personal trainer for me and that's how. I even have a firmer pack than my pt (Personal Trainer) and that's saying something.

"Bye Mum. See you later" I yelled running down the stairs

"Bye sweetie" Mum yelled back before I slammed the door shut

As I was approaching the school I saw an 8th grader from school being beat up by Frank a seinor leader of the Black Dragons. How do I know? Well let's just say when you don't have any friends you have a lot of spare time.

I usually wouldn't have cared about this but it was one of my pt's sons Nate and I have heard lots about him so i know it's just Frank picking another bone because he can't get the girl he's crushing on.

So I went over there confident for once.

"Hey Frank" I yelled walking over to the two boys

"What do you want and who are you?" he asked dropping Nate on the ground

"I am Kim Crawford and I know that Nate here didin't do anything wrong so why are you beating him up? Is it because Sally rejected you for Brad?" I asked noticing that there was a crowd gathering around us.

"I've never heard of you, I don't know and HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT THAT?!?" He asked and yelled the last part while he walked closer to me

"Let's not talk about that-" I started but was cutt of by Frank

"Thankyou now go i have to finish this kid up" Frank said gesturing to Nate who was bing helped by some of his friends

"No and you didn't let me finish. What I was saying was let's not talk about this ourselves but talk about it with everyone around us" I said proudly with a smirk growing on my face.

"OK but you asked for it Kimmy" he said before walking away with the rest of the Black Dragons. I decided to just leave it and get to class.
