V's P. O. V
I felt the lead unclip from my collar and I instantly bolted around the room like a maniac. I stopped and spied my favourite toy that kept me company in the shelter; a little yellow rabbit plush that I used as a pillow. I grabbed it and dragged it out of the rustling carrier bag that housed him. I tossed my head around with the plush secured in my mouth; drool starting to coat the fluffy material.
I halted and the plush hung in the air for a few seconds, then fell down straight onto my head. I instantly released with surprise.

I dropped the carrier bag full of his stuff that he previously had at the shelter, sat down on my corner sofa and watched as this little ginger living pom-pom raced around my living room.
It filled my heart with joy to see how happy he seems now that he is free and that someone loves him.
I notice him grab his rabbit plush and throw it around whilst holding onto it with his mouth. I had to giggle when he stopped and it hit him on his little fluffy head.
As the day got later and the environment started to get darker, both V and I were starting to tide and get sleepy. We ate our food, I let V outside for the last toilet break before bed and I headed for the bathroom for my bedtime shower.
As I entered my largish bedroom, I saw V curled up on the other side of my double bed. It warmed my heart more and I couldn't bare to say for him to not be on there. I crawled under the duvet and quickly arrived in dreamland.
