The Storm and the Shore

The Storm and The Shore.

(Intro) C, G, D. Downstrum

I drift out to sea,
Farther and farther from the beach,
I see the clouds start to form,
And the wind hits my face.
I drift away from the island,
Farther from my childhood homeland.

I drift into the storm, I lose sight of the beach
I drift into the storm, my eyes focused on the clouds.
I drift into the storm, I can't see the end
I drift into the storm, getting farther and farther, father, father from the shore

Soon I see, there's a difference between the storm and shore. One keeps me safe and the other rains over me.

The storms getting bigger as I get farther away.

The waves are crashing around me.

The thunder is roaring and the lighting is reining above. I scream for help but the waves seem to laugh back at me telling I'll never get back to shore. And I drift frather still.

I drift into the storm, I lose sight of the beach
I drift into the storm, my eyes focused on the clouds.
I drift into the storm, I can't see the end

Soon I see, there's a difference between the storm and shore. One keeps me safe and the other rains over me

(Dont know if it'll be rap, talking to music or what)

I fall down to my knees crying to the beach.

I hear a voice and I looked up to see a man standing on the shore. He asked me, "What are you crying for?" I said "I'm stuck and I'll never get back to land." The man laughed and replied. "Nonsense." Soon the clouds rolled away and the waves were calm, the lighting and the thunder stopped. I looked up and saw I was back on soild ground, and 'cause of the storm, I'm stronger then before.

I drift toward the shore, I lose sight of the storm.

I drift toward the shore, my eyes focused on the ground.

I drift toward the shore, I see the end of the storm.

I drift toward the shore, getting farther and farther and farther, farther from the storm.

Soon I see, there's a difference between the storm and shore. One keeps me safe and the other rains over me

Literally just now wrote this an a span of ten minutes lol.

So this is a mephor. (Obviously)

But im not gonna tell you what it is. Thats the fun part! You all have to guess :)
