I wake up soaking wet. I look around and see that I am on the floor with a towel underneath of me. I slowly get up when I hear footstep come into the room.

"Good, you're awake" Chandler says crouching down to my side.

"How long was I out for" I ask.

"About a day" he says.

"What happened" I asked.

"On your way back to the house, you slipped and fell into the lake" he responded.

"There's a change of clothes in the bathroom for you" he said gesturing me to the door on the left.

I walked over and opened the door. On the bathroom sink was a stack of clothes. I shut the door and began to change. I hung my wet clothes on the towel rack. I grabbed the shirt and put it on. It was a black short-sleeve shirt. Next I put on the dark blue jeans. They were really baggy but I don't care. I put on the combat boots next to them and headed out the door. I walked downstairs to see Chandler on the front porch.
I opened the door and sat next to him.

"What's wrong" I ask.
"I've lost everything" he says almost in a whisper.

" I lost my mom and brother five years ago" he continued "and I really don't think my dad will return from the Atlanta base."

I looked at him for a second and far him a hug.

"I'm sorry that you've lost so many people." With that said, I hugged him. I don't know why, maybe it's because I feel sorry for him or maybe I have feelings for him.
