"Take yo hand off my hips! 'Fore I punch you in the lip!

Stop yo starin' at my HEY! Take a hin

Take a hint!"

"Ahhhhh Snaaaapah Reggie and I were in my room dancing to Take a Hint by Victorious. When the song ended, we tumbled clumsily down on carpet. "We are so crazy," Reggie laughed. "Good thing to or we wouldn't be friends," I shot back. Reggie was hanging out at my house while his mom was on a date. It was like having a brother and sister in one. My family lived pretty well for a middle class family. Our house wasn't big but it wasn't small either. It was pretty good for a house on the outskirts of Metro-Atlanta, Georgia. "How's your Grams? Is she feeling better?" Reggie asked as we sat near the frost bitten window. It didn't often in Atlanta but when it did, it snowed hard. "She's fine. The doctor said she just needs to rest and be around family." I explained. My Grams and I were really close since I was little. When I was little, she told me stories and how life was when she was my age. "That's good. Well, it was fun but I have to get to my own bed before I sleep in yours. You know how Miss Stewart can get with that accent of yours." I chuckled as Reggie made fun of our World History teacher. "Is your dad still going to send you to your Aunt's place?"

"Only if I get another strike, I mean I'm almost seventeen, I think I handle myself. All I do is day dream a little anyway nothing  serious to get sent to my aunt Diana's place."

"What is that suppose teach you?"

"To be more like a lady, my dad says."

The window was rattling at it's own accord. Something very small must have hit glass very hard and very fast startling Reggie and I. "What the hell was that?" Reggie asked stepping away from the window. "Like I kno, maybe it was a bird or something." After a few more moment, I walked Reggie to the door and waved goodbye. I went back up to my room and quickly went to sleep.

As I slept, I could feel as if someone was hovering over me, like a shadow. I opened my eyes slightly to see a boy staring down at me, studying me. Hearing me gasping my breath, he backs away into the corner  of the ceiling. All I could muster was to stare at him and him at me. A tiny twinkling like sound of bells caight his attention, as soon as he came, he was gone, out of the open window. I felt the softness of my pillow as I fainted. Little did I know, at that moment my fate was sealed.
