Chapter 62: Guest Rules

Y/N's POV:

Ally has just finished helping the girl as Lauren had abandoned us moments ago running to the main building. I was unsure as to why but we were left with the woman.

"Thank you. Thank you." She just kept bowing.

"It's okay." I smiled sitting next to her.

"I'm thankful. Please. Help me find my mate." She begged.

"She's okay." I said trying to reason.

"Lets focus on the two cubs you have. They're barely a week old by guess." Ally speaks.

"4 days old. Our camp was trashed by fire. I tried to save as much as I could but my mate-Ashley told us we were gonna be safe. She had a friend we could go to for a new start. A new pack. She's yet to return. And i'm running out of options." The woman said as Ally helped her feed the cubs.

"Lets start with names. Probably the best option." I said taking a bit of charge.

"This is Miley and Noah. They're both girls. And i'm Demi. Demetria if you're fancy." I nodded and smiled.

"Y/N. I'm Luna of this pack. And our pack healer...Ally." I smiled motioning to Ally.

"Ashley used to be part of a large pack. But left for me and then we made our own. It was going well but yeah..." I frowned.

We talked for a little longer till the door opened again.

"Baby?" Lauren called into the house.

"Yeah?" I asked holding Miley.

"I brought Ashley."

"Ashley?" Demi said her head lifting up.

"Hey baby." Ashley said walking in.

I noticed the prisoner bracelet on her wrist.

"You're okay. I was so worried." Demi cried once she ran to Ashley.

"I'm okay baby."

They hugged and I watched Lauren stare at her arms folded. The two had history, that was obvious to anyone. I had never seen Lauren so angry yet so concerned at one person. I held Miley close as Luna barked and sniffed Ashley and Demi. Demi smiled at the wolf, usually people had the same response. Ashley petted the wolf a little and I smiled, when people were nice to Luna I felt happy and knew they were to be trusted.

"You're gonna stay here for a little longer baby." Ashley spoke making me look at Lauren.

"Why is she staying?" I linked Lauren.

"She's not in a pack and has two cubs. I'm harsh but not a monster. We have a room set up in the main building because she needs to stay close but also be looked after. Ally is gonna look after the cubs a lot due to her medical background but also she has had cubs herself." Lauren spoke in link to me.

"The kids have missed you." Demi spoke.

I handed Miley to Ashley, not missing out the fact Lauren had stepped forward when I had, like she was concerned for my safety. Ashley cooed at the sight of her cubs making me smile, the kids were adorable in general but these were hers. Lauren pulled me aside, checking me over slightly as I looked at her. 

"We'll have Dinah escort you to your room Demi, Ashley is gonna come back with me." Lauren spoke.

" Why are we being separated?" Demi asked confused. 

"Because, Ashley has some business to attend to." Lauren spoke,her alpha tone coming through.

"Okay." She spoke putting her head down slightly.

"Go relax, you'll be treated like royalty here." Ashley spoke making Lauren nod.

"I'll make sure everything is provided for you and your cubs. Water, food, clothes, warmth and protection." Lauren spoke nodding.

"You should get going baby." Ashley spoke and kissed Demi goodbye. 

"I love you." Demi spoke.

"I love you too." Ashley said smiling.

"Come on, Dinah's waiting outside." Ally spoke softly.

"Okay." Demi spoke and I went to help with the cubs but Lauren pulled me back.

Luna followed Demi, as if the cubs made her have a soft spot, either that or an obsession with Demi.
